Great people. Fast service fantastic bread but where's the meat. The sandwich is basically the best bread ever and loads of lettuce but super skimpy on the meat. I ordered the club car and you could read the newspaper between the shaved two pieces of meat. If they would add a little more meat this would be a five star sub place but for the $13 for a smallish sub with a ton of lettuce and no substance I just can't The soup is good though. The booths are way too tight for the average guy. My man is 6ft and 210 pounds and no way he could fit. They do offer tables but they were all Being used by average people Who couldn't fit in the booths. This place is clean and the lobby is bright. I do like the sunflower bread with chicken salad. Needs some mayo but it's good. read more

Bagels sandwiches are great. However, the coffee fits the description of "tastes like dishwater". Staff is very friendly.

This was an awesome local find. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond to help. I stop by to get a breakfast and a sandwich for the road before I headed to the national park. The folks there asked me and I wrote, and when I shared that they were concerned that there might be some outages. They called the local office to find out what the status of the roads were, so that I could pick one that was the most accommodating and safe. The kindness was quite amazing. The breakfast coffee and food I got was delicious. When it came from my lunchtime the sandwich hit the spot! I would highly recommend this place and will go back next time I'm in the area. read more

Food:5 it was delicious with fresh everything. Zero complaints. Service:5 it was incredible how fast they prepared it in conjunction with taking my order, I finished talking and they handed me the complete order w/I a few seconds. Atmosphere: 4 - it's laid out good to handle large number, it's clean, there is nothing very exciting about it. The parking lot isn't ideal as drive-thru traffic jams everything up making it frustrating to leave if you park on the N side. I recommend eating hear if you want an awesome lunch. read more

We've always been big fans of the Breadboard in Buffalo. We were excited to find one in Cody. We stopped to grab lunch in here today(Monday) and the cashier chose to berate the line cooks instead of working and solving problems. We watched this develop for about 7 minutes before we walked out. Based on the reaction from the rest of the staff this seemed like a common occurrence. Pretty disgusting behavior in general but even worse in front of a restaurant full of people. read more

We went through their drive-thru to get sandwiches for a driving day. The service was super fast and friendly (similar to Jimmy Johns) except this place is family owned along with three other restaurants in Wyoming. The sandwiches were delicious!! I ordered turkey/swiss cheese/avocado on amazingly fresh and flavorful sunflower bread. Hubby ordered a large roast beef sandwich on wheat bread with everything. They automatically cut it in half to make it more manageable to eat, which he has to ask every other sandwich place to do. Great place for breakfast too. No inside or outside dining during COVID. Ok. I am not from Cody just visiting. I was told this place had amazing bagels. I would not know. I went in around 745 in the morning and asked for a dozen bagels. Even before I could give the breakdown of what assortment I wanted the lady behind the counter said I can't sell you a dozen bagels, I need a days notice to sell you that many. She did say 6 was the most she could sell me. Side note there were more than 2 dozen bagels on the self. So I did not buy any. Saving for future customers cost you this sell. One in the hand is better than two in the bush. read more

40 dollars for 2-12" subs, dry as can be, with no sides or drink. Had no pastrami or french bread. Didnt get what i asked for on my sandwich. Everything warm is microwaved bacon, eggs, etc... Subway is only a block away. Very disappointed, be back in a few months for a redemption. read more

We have eaten here for lunch before, this was our first time to come for breakfast. It was delicious! Great fresh ingredients, fantastic bagels. I had the bagel deluxe, with Canadian bacon, eggs, and provolone cheese on an asiago bagel. My wife had an amazing salad, as she is on a special diet. Very pleased at the food quality and value. Great breakfast stop before hitting the road. The breakfast burritos were huge and the scrambled egss were so fluffy and stuffed with onions and jalepenos , it didn't even need salsa or hot sauce. Hands down BEST sandwich I have EVER had in my life. Everything is fresh, the breads are delicious and made fresh that day, and the meats and ingredients are of the best quality and the way they make the sandwich you get a great portion yet you still taste every single items flavors individually and then as a whole. They perfected the sandwich. This was my first time at the breadboard and I ordered 10 sandwiches for some of the folks that I was meeting with at the local hospital. I walked into place my order and they gladly accepted an order on short notice and we're able to fill it within 15 minutes. The quality of the bread is super important to me and is the first thing that I noticed when I order a sandwich. Um....best damn sandwich place in the land. I dream of breadboard sandwiches. I grew up on Cody and no longer live there and I literally dream of this place. Scott, the owner, is amazeballs and all his staff are amazing too. They make the bread fresh daily and it's out of control good. Like heaven sandwiches. And the Italian dressing they put on them is off the charts good. Best sandwich in all the land right here. Freight train is my go-to. read more

Fresh made bread and excellent choice of meats for your sandwich. On two occasions while we've been in Cody visiting family The Breadboard has run out of their white bread despite baking a new batch mid-afternoon. They just sell out and with the start of the tourist season just starting it might be a good idea to call ahead if you just have t have a specific bread. They do offer an excellent rye bread, wheat and a sunflower bread. Sandwich sizes are 4, 6, 8 and 12 inch. My favorite so far is the Reuben and my wife's is the sandwich called the Conductor (ham, Capicola ham, hard salami, provolone and all the fixings). The only soup we have tried so far has been the potato bacon which was hot and very good. A perfect little sub shop that is a must stop for a good lunch while you are in Cody. read more

I've said in reviews before the problem here is the kids running the place... they sell more than bread and sandwiches but they ran out of bread so they stayed inside and locked the doors...ugh...damn kids. went through the drive through to get coffees for all of us and nope, "sorry, we ran out of bread..." so you CLOSED?? but stayed there with the signs and lights lit?? this is the fault of the owner, and the problem with not paying a good salary, the only staff you attract are kids, who else can or will work for peanuts? and if you pay peanuts? yep, you get monkeys. read more

Traveling through Cody Wy we visited the Breadboard by recommendation from a Cody native. So glad we did, the bread is baked fresh everyday, the veggies are crisp and fresh and though the meat is deli style, it was very tasty. When we were hungry around lunchtime we consulted Yelp to find a suitable place to get a good sammich (read: sandwich) for lunch. The Breadboard sounded tasty and we decided to go check it out. The inside of this sammich shop was nothing special. I didn't think that the booth seats were very comfortable and our table wasn't clean. They have a pretty impressive menu with selections of hot/cold sammiches plus sides, salads and soups. Their service is fast and the size of your sammich can vary from 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, or footlong which I thought was a good idea for those of us who think that a 6 inch too small but a foot long is too large. The quality of their meats was good and I thought their bread was very good. My husband got the sammich with jalapeno bacon which was a really interesting meat. It was well-cooked, crispy bacon with a gradual heat that was undetectable at first but got warmer and warmer. Like many sammich places I've visited they were lacking in the veggie department. I can't give five stars to a sammich place that uses that shredded yellow/white "lettuce." That being said, The Breadboard makes seriously tasty sammiches quickly. Sandwiches are great but the breakfast bagel sandwich is not great. The bagel was huge and very chewy. The ratio of bagel to egg was off. Too much bread. The bagel also needed to be baked longer to have at least a slight crust. I ordered the everything bagel and the everything mix was incorporated into the dough and not on the outside. This made it pretty flavorless. Next time I go I will stick to sandwiches! read more

Stopped here on way to Cooke City MT for a hike/climbing trip. This place bakes fresh bagels and bread. They offer both breakfast bagels and wraps as well as a large assortment of lunch sandwiches which can be ordered in sizes like 4" 6" 8" 10" 12", etc. Thought the sunflower wheat bread was outstanding! The lunch sandwich and bagels were both good. All the bread seemed freshly baked. A nice find in Cody, WY! read more
