    Basic breakfast plate

Had a big table and was seated on their patio area. Great no frills breakfast spot that has all your usual plates and then some to fill everyone's palate. Loved they were able to split checks many ways for a large group. The only minor disorganized part was that the individual items didn't come out together for each person, essentially they brought food out as it was cooked and with a large group, you need to remember what you ordered and what sides came with what plates. Breakfast cocktails, yes please. They were able to make a hot version of the turtle...yum.

Absolutely delicious food! Great service. Enjoyed the mimosa flight and the totchos. Really enjoyed and would recommend! Super fun vibe with the retro theme and music videos.

    Chick'n fried steak! Yum!

Awesome, trendy, packed and delivered. I wanted an awesome breakfast burrito and this place was top tier! Yum! Large portions and tasteful in food and atmosphere!

My sad eggs and sad friend :(

Goodness gracious, Geez. Those are the 3 words I can say. 1. I came with 2 other girls after church. Server was 10 feet away from us, and asked if we wanted WATERS. 10ft away. Asked if the girl (not pictured) if she wanted a water, then said, "wait ma'am. Wait no. Sir, gentlemen. Wait, I'm sorry." THEN WALKS AWAY! 2. We had to wait 15 minutes-ish to order, and then waited an additional 45 FREAKING MINUTES FOR THE FOOD, only to be told after said time, they were out of Acai. (Which is what my friend ordered *in picture*) like bruh. Be so for real. 3. Server swore when talking to us, making us uncomfortable, and came off very unprofessional. 4. I TOOK ONE BITE OUT OF MY EGGS. It. Was. Cold. Not even like lukewarm... COLD. My waffle was good tho!!! 5. Vibes were on point. I will say, vibes are high, but wait time and service is VERY poor. We were laughing about all of this, but in reality, we got very hungry while waiting. Started out great, laughed thru the entire experience, side quest was fun, but probably won't come back...

I'm pumped to hear there is a Breakfast Club near me. We put a brunch on the calendar and head for it on a Saturday morning. It's hopping. Put in our name and had about an hour wait. The music is pumped up and we stand outside for awhile, but then step inside where it is warm. This Breakfast Club location is almost 3 times as big as the downtown location. However this morning, they have one major section not being used. It may be lack of wait staff. We do put in the full wait. People are coming and going and we are getting hungry. Right at the hour mark we are called for our table. We get a nice spot against the wall for our table of 5. Even though we had all drooled over the menu while we waited when the waitress came to take drinks we kinda just went crazy. Couple ladies ordered the adult breakfast beverages. Then one of us was going to order an appetizer for our breakfast. Then another, then it turned into us ordering all items off the appetizer section of the menu. One other friend ordered a waffle but we really had fun getting our appetizers at different times and all got to try different things. The Savory Starters we tried. S'more Donut Holes: Donut Holes with Marshmallow cream, chocolate sauce, Honey graham crumbs. They came out warm and I think my personal favorite of the items. we had. Breakfast Eggroll: Bacon, cheddar, scrambled egg, potato with sauces to dip. I really wanted to love this one. Yes, it was a fried eggroll, and it was very greasy. I did like the overall idea. I liked the sweet thai chili sauce you get with it for dipping. Totches: Tots, Chorizo, black beans, scrambled egg, queso, lettuce, jalapeno and pico de gallo. Our Vegan friends got the vegan friendly "meat" option and really devoured this one. Crepe Flight: (Hard to share) it had the 3 little crepes. with fruit and goodies and different fillings. Our vegan friends like this one too. I stole the bananas off the plate. It was good. Has Sticks: Hash browns, bacon, green onion, pepper jack, coated in breadcrumbs served with Cajun Mayo. Again, I wanted to love this one but the grease was heavy and not drained before serving up. The flavor was good and I really like the ideas. Something different and fun. Although we missed a couple of the starters or decided that we had more than we could handle, it was a ton of food and we really enjoyed it. One girlfriend grabbed a strawberry waffles cause she didn't think we had enough. We already decided to come back and try the next section in the menu. Im happy there is a Breakfast club up closer to me so now I get to try all these fun items. Well be back next month!

Out and about for breakfast and this fun decorations and amazing music was calling to us today. We walked in and were greeted to inform the hostess party of 3 please. We sat down and began our reviewing of their menu. We landed on 3 waters, 2 chocolate milfs and a coffee to start with. We the picked our meal options. Our server was great at helping answer many of my questions as I suffer from so many allergies. If she didn't fully know she went to get the answer. So here we go...we started off with breakfast corn dogs, they were good and came with some dipping side sauces of maple syrup and strawberry glaze (tasted more like raspberry in my opinion). My daughter picked Chicken and waffles, she informed it was delicious but the Waffles for her were to sweet. I of course sampled hers to either agree or disagree. I felt they were waffles and nothing too sweet, but it just shows how we all taste food a bit differently. Her boyfriend got Chicken fried steak with eggs. I asked to taste his gravy and the sausage gravy is really 100%. Oh it also comes with the Chicken and waffles in which I can see why my daughter said it was sweet to her taste buds. I had ordered Cordon Blue skillet. This came with family baked potatoes with fried chicken, Swiss cheese and ham. Served on top of the potatoes with choice of egg, I did scrambled, and chicken gravy. I thought my gravy was sweet amd became worried because I didn't think to ask oh shoot what's kind of gravy came with my order. I simply assumed sausage. The answer is yes but not the same as what the other two received. Mine tasted like a tomato or mushroom base gravy. Well thank goodness it wasn't mushroom or it would be horrible for me. So yes it's a sausage base smooth gravy and delicious. Overall we will be back we can't wait to try other breakfast dishes that they serve. I would say stop in and choose some fun menu items, and just listen and enjoy the music. As I mentioned I was flashed back a few times to the 80s growing up and thinking wow when Madonna was the worst videos in that era. Have fun!

We had a great visit to this location as I heard there are other locations too. We had a group of 6 that they were able to accommodate for us. Food was great tasing and I liked the menu of options they gave us. It definitely got busier the closer to 10 am it got and the noise level and energy increased. Oh and the Bucsit Benny, Its awesome.

If you want a fun breakfast experience this is definitely the place to come. The mimosa flights and so many coffee drinks to choose from. The bathroom area has a button you push for a disco pop up lol so many unique food options like crab Rangoon Benedict.

Newly opened in Ankeny, loving the vibe and location in the District! This spot is bright and pops with a playful atmosphere too! Good selection of food, everything from your basic breakfast to new and fun dishes. Went on a Saturday morning right when they opened, we didn't have to wait got seated right away. Had the biscuits and gravy was more a sweet gravy- not my fave and didn't love the egg on top. Would give this place another go and try something new next time!

There was a small but steady crowd throughout the night and we had top- notch service from our server- knowledgeable about the menu, attentive in the 'just right way' - carefully observing drinks and not interrupting date night more than necessary. A variety of local And other craft beers were featured although surprisingly not any from Firetrucker next door! The holiday decor was still up but even without it has a warm feel- love the various table sizes and heights and the long bar with a pretty decent offering for cocktails. While there, the bartender was experimenting with drinks and having fun. After recommendations I ordered the French dip which was phenomenal! Homemade bread, warm, generous meat and peppers and grilled onions, flavorful dip . I will say if I ordered again I would ask to have the sauce left off as I am not a fan of horseradish sauce. Still, it was tasty! Side salad as option was super fresh with mixed greens and the house creamy Italian was bursting with herby flavor. my husband had the tenderloin and while delicious- it was 'bougie' and not the traditional Midwest. It was generous and interesting as a dinner option. Would certainly return as the patio is inviting (just not in January)!'

I and my amazing woman ordered the Grilled Buffalo Chicken Cobb along with a half Very Berry Salad with added grilled chicken, and overall it was a satisfying, hearty meal. The Grilled Buffalo Chicken Cobb was the standout. The chicken was tender and well-cooked, topped with a bold buffalo sauce that added heat overpowering the dish (heh). The salad itself was generously portioned and visually appealing, loaded with fresh ingredients like cherry tomatoes, avocado slices, blue cheese crumbles, crispy bacon, hard-boiled egg, corn, carrots, and mixed greens. Every bite had a good balance of textures and flavors--creamy, crunchy, savory, and spicy. The Very Berry Salad (half portion) was fresh and light, making it a nice contrast to the Cobb. Adding grilled chicken made it more filling, though the upcharge felt a little steep for the portion size. Still, the greens and toppings were fresh and well-prepared. Service and presentation were solid, and the food arrived looking just as good as it tasted. One downside was the added 3% swipe/tap fee, which bumped the total up a bit, but the quality of the food helped justify the overall surprise. Overall: A flavorful, filling meal with fresh ingredients and strong presentation. A good choice if you're craving a substantial salad that doesn't feel boring and looking for a place to hide from a rain and talk to your loved one. (5/5)
