Incidentally, the name 'Valhalla's Goat' refers to the Norse legend of Heiðrún, a goat who stands on her hind legs in Valhalla eating the leaves of the tree Lærað. The secret is not to hyperventilate, take your time and explore methodically shelf-to-shelf. They're owned by Williams Bros. Brewing who also run the nearby Inn Deep bar, but the shop doesn't only specialise in beers - they have great selections of cider, wine, whisky and other spirits. What was notable about VG was the prices - they were cheaper than we were used to paying, especially for the larger cans of craft ale. Helpful, friendly staff are on hand too - this is definitely a place to frequent to stock up; and that's exactly what we did!

Between the two of us, we got the Temple of Seitan wings (small size; £9), the Beyond Meat burger (£13.75), and the feta & avo bowl (£11.45) with the feta removed, and tindle (£4.50; a vegan chicken) added. -The wings were extremely rich, coated with an intense buffalo sauce and served with mayo as though you'd need more sauce. This was a bit too intense for me, but my wife loved them. The seitan texture was definitely excellent though. 3.5/5 -The Beyond Meat burger was honestly one of the better Beyond burgers I've had in some time.
