Looked at new King size mattresses the other day. Was given a price and told how much delivery was to my house as well as how much it was to haul away the old mattress and box spring. Ended up ordering through the website as it was $150 cheaper and saved us driving back to Huntsville to place the order even though Huntsville was still doing the delivery. Was told today that they won't be removing the old mattress as they don't do that on out of town deliveries even though they had no problem giving a price to remove the old one the other day when we were looking in the store. I will not spend a another dime at the Brick in Huntsville if that's how they do business. Clearly you can't trust anything that they say. Not impressed! read more

I echo the other multiple one-star reviews on this site. Do not shop here. Extremely rude customer service. We purchased a fridge less than two years ago from the Brick and it totally broke down recently. A repair company said that it could not be fixed and that it was a lemon. The Brick was very unhelpful when I called them and spoke abruptly and rudely to me. They repeatedly said that they didn't manufacture the fridge and only sold it so they have no responsibility. They would not apologize and said the issue has nothing to do with them because they did not manufacture it. Do not trust the products sold from their store and the staff is very unpleasant. read more

I have a very good friend that purchased a fridge she was delivered a used fridge dirty used with no manuals . she has no internet and has been blown off by staff telling her basically sucks to be you I will try helping her as this is sooooooo wrong BRICK please assits Susan Rodgers to get a new fridge not used like it came out of your coffee room sure you will do something to fix this appalling situation!!!!!!! There really needs to be a negative rating for this retailer. They brag about being "local" and "family-run" -- they give both attributes a bad name. After too many days/weeks/hours trying to get some customer service out of these clowns I won't waste time listing everything they did so horribly wrong, but suffice to say they had my $11K four months in advance and still screwed up delivery dates twice, costing me hundreds of dollars extra to bring back the plumber and electrician for installation. And then they wouldn't honour the dent policy--despite their promises that we could leave everything wrapped up for 2 weeks because of THEIR screw-up. But worst of all, the owners couldn't even bother to return our phone calls. They had our money. They couldn't give a flying fig about whether or not we were satisfied customers. Had great service at the new location on the mall. The new owners have done it right! Great selection with helpful sales people. They had my order in very quickly and just as promised. I like the selection the Brick has and is nice to be able to shop right in town. read more

Bought a GE dishwasher, took it home & it's defective out of the box - wont take it back and told me to call the manufacturer for warranty. Here I am a week later with a $700 hunk of scrap & no calls back from anyone on warranty. Never Again!!!!!! read more

Two thumbs up on the recent purchase and delivery of my new TV and sound bar from the Brick in Huntsville. The sales associate "Miruna " was very helpful in my purchase and exceptional at follow up, all by phone. The model of Sony TV I purchased was discontinued, but I was upgraded to the replacement model at no charge. Follow up on the scheduled delivery occurred as promised and the delivery team team (Tyler?) was efficient, polite and made sure the TV worked. I will shop at the Brick in Huntsville again. I ordered a freezer on June 11th it was supposed to arrive on the 18th. It didn't come in until July 4th and when I finally got it home it was dented on the top in two places! Thankfully I had them write I was entitled to a refund and therefore I am returning it and getting my money back after almost a month of waiting! This has happened twice before with a matress on purchases! They never have anything in stock. I will never go to the brick in Huntsville again. read more

Long. Ordered and paid for all of my kitchen appliances in August and living room furniture in September with anticipated delivery this coming Friday for a new build. They let me know that unfortunately the fridge isn't in stock, I get it - supply isn't meeting demand right now, however, the service given when telling me this as well as when dealing with the manager was terrible. When I told the sales associate, who I had called in to order from instead of ordering online so that she would get the commission, that if the fridge was going to take longer than a week I would just like a refund and I will get it from a different store where it is in stock she scoffed and said "it's just the way of the world right now, you won't get one anywhere" and then said there would be no compensation for going without one. After that, spoke with customer service who said the manager would be in touch. The manager didn't call so I called him. He didn't ask who the sales associate was, didn't comment on her service or provide an apology. He suggested that I just 'sit on it' and wait to see if my fridge would come in in the next two weeks. I told him that wasn't going to work for our family with small children and that we need a fridge and would take a floor model until our fridge was in stock. He said that would be fine but the floor model would then be ours. I said no, I am not paying full price for a floor model, he said it was brand new because food had never been in it, I said it wasn't because that's the one people test out opening, shutting, slamming repeatedly. I said in this case I'll just take a refund but he still tried to push the floor model on me and also said 'and you don't want to just wait the two weeks for the new one'. I replied no, a refund will work. Overall, terrible service from sales to the manager. Will never return. read more

Needed a frost free freezer. Bought it and a lamp that were both delivered when promised. They have access to all the items that the Brick carries and deliver so it's all good. read more

#HoleInTheWall - employees smoking inside store. Entire lower level stinks like smoke. Furniture on the floor is damaged. I know this is not a high end shop but it's unbelievable how bad this store is. read more
