We purchased a fridge from the Brick in North Bay and it wasn't functioning properly. The Brick staff were very supportive and although it took a month to get a new replacement into our home, it was not anything that the staff could have done differently. I highly recommend this store. read more

Apparently I should have much lower expectations after spending the extra money for what I thought was a better sofa than the original garbage I bought from the Brick. This sofa was a replacement for a different one with similar wear after a few months. This is wear by one small person sitting on the lounger section occasionally. I will never step foot in The Brick again. My husband and I ordered a TV on December 13th. They told me that it was on back order and that it would be in on the 20th. That was fine. We got a call and were informed that due to the holidays the TV would come in January 6th. It was my birthday on the 25th (it was a birthday present - not Christmas), but that was fine too. We noticed that the TV was on sale in the Boxing Day flyer. My husband went in to ask if we could get the sale price. They had just sold the last TV minutes ago. They had our TV in stock for the sale?!?! I was livid that they didn't call us, so we could pick up our TV. They instead sold the stock that they received for their sale. I asked them why I didn't receive my merchandise and they just shook their heads and responded with, we don't know. I immediately went in, got a refund, and bought a TV at Future Shop. read more

I was a little concerned when I had a problem with a TV that was only 2 weeks old but so very pleased in how it was handled. The staff was friendly, helpful and had us with new Tv in record time. Worst Customer Service Ever! My fridge quit just before Christmas. I had bought the extended warranty, so it was replaceable. After the warranty company contacted the store to confirm the replacement, the Brick was supposed to contact me to arrange a new fridge. They never did, and twice I contacted the store, and both times an employee and then the manager insisted that they hadn't heard from the warranty company. They were flat-out lying, because a receipt on the email from the warranty company confirmed they had received and opened the replacement confirmation. When I confronted the manager, rather than apologizing he took out his frustration in being caught lying on me. I had to go through the warranty company again to force him into action, and the store was so difficult to deal with that it ended up being almost 4 weeks before the new fridge was delivered. I had to get through the whole holiday season with an old bar fridge and a cooler on the deck. Unless you are willing to throw out any broken/damaged/shoddy product they sell you and buy a replacement, don't shop at the Brick. read more
