I tried on a LOT of dresses, tons of different styles, and she did not once appear fed up with me. When I first arrived to the appointment, she greeted me with a warm cup of tea and treats. Ruth was so patient with me as I selected the gowns I wanted to try on. Every gown can be custom made to fit the different shape of each bride. Her designs were stunning and unique. She was also extremely flexible with the short deadline. I was extremely shocked that she as the designer took the appointments herself and provided such a personable experience. Laura Ashley isn't cheap and it isn't for everyone but I did find a lovely fringed evening bag which my cousin loved. I'd visit again if I were looking for something gift like that was reasonably special as they did carry some nice lines. My 5year old granddaughter can often be seen with her nose pressed against the window as she is convinced it is 'Kates' dress. Its a lovely shop housed in one of the prettiest buildings in the area.
