It was also her first time attending, and we were all truly blessed by it. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we were met with genuine smiles and joyful greetings from the parking team. The warmth was immediate. As we entered the sanctuary about 20 minutes before service began, the lobby was already filled with the buzz of community and connection--believers fellowshipping, laughing, a simply enjoying one another and the coffee. As we made our way to our seats, two greeters kindly shook our hands and welcomed us in. Then something truly special happened. A young man with special needs approached us--not with words, but with the purest joy--and extended his hand to each one of us in greeting. It was such a tender and powerful reminder of God's love expressed through His people. Just before service began, the church encouraged everyone to stand and greet one another--a thoughtful gesture that made what could feel like a large space feel personal and inviting. At that point, the sanctuary was still filling in. But by the time worship started, I looked back from our third-row seats and saw the entire room full--every heart engaged in praise. The message that day was on spiritual gifts, and it felt like the perfect word in the perfect place at the perfect time. Grateful for the opportunity to worship as a family and experience the presence of God in such a life-giving environment. Thank you, Victory Church, for welcoming us so well.

Faith Church is non denominational and I find the lack of doctrine nice. Teaching is based upon the Word of God (Bible)and Jesus as a relationship. I find the message by Pastor Josh Cossey important in my life, he consistently gives you points that engage your heart and mind all week, makes you hunt for answers in the Bible and yeah, sometimes question yourself. The worship music is great IMHO, mostly recent songs but then a old classic gospel sneaks in. Don't sit in front of me, I'm a terrible singer. Faith Church has a nice age diversity but it's a young church, about 45% children under 18. They have a great children's program. I have to admit that I teach a 5th and 6th grade boys group but I'm not an employee. This is a new location for Faith Church, moving from NW Highway and Council Road. Give it a try.

Visted St. Joseph's Old Cathedral after a visit to the Oklahoma City National Memorial…read more St. Joseph's Old Cathedral was extensively damaged when a bomb exploded at the nearby Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995. The stained-glass windows facing the federal building were shattered. The pipe organ was extensively damaged. The explosion raised the roof several inches off its steel pillars. Rafters were broken. Plaster fell from the walls and ceiling. The church was closed for nearly two years. And Jesus Wept. An Italian marble statue was carved to commemorate the event. It is near the cathedral across from the Oklahoma City National Memorial. Visit the historic cathedral to learn more. Built in a Gothic Revival style, it is so beautiful. The central tower with a spire is flanked by two shorter towers. Perfect for a quick stop in Oklahoma City.

The outside has a Jesus wept statue to remember the loss of the life at that memorial. The cathedral is white interior which is great for people to worship. The organ music instrument at the back was accompanied well. Acoustic is very nice for the church. The cathedral can be visit in 10 minutes of time depending on if you want to pray or not.
