They offer this "VIP Experience" for first time visitors where you truly feel like they are happy you have chosen to attend. We were walked through the children's area where we checked in our daughter. What I loved initially was that there is a system in place to ensure no one can just come in and take a child without having a numbered pass that matches the name tag given to the parent. They went a step further and provided my child with a name tag showing the other kids that it was her first time so that she could feel welcomed and truly have a great first time visit. The service was absolutely great and the pastors sense of humor and incorporation of jokes was a breath of fresh air compared to more traditional churches I have attended in the past; not to mention the worship band was absolutely amazing! At the end of the services, we all received a welcome gift, to include one for my child and we were introduced to the campus pastor and his wife. You can tell that this is such a loving environment to be a part of and it just may very well become our home church

The welcome person was very kind and well, welcoming. We are trying to find our home church where we can raise our family and grow in our walk with Jesus and God but we did not feel very welcomed overall. We were not introduced to any of the pastors and in all we only spoke to one person. We thought it would be a bit different. Me, being retired Air Force, and my wife, growing up on Army bases in her youth, have attended churches on many military installations and are used to the camaraderie and welcoming demeanor of the people who attend. My wife and I have also attended Korean-American churches where everyone wants to meet you and the pastors are always the first to greet you and assist you. The military churches are quite transient though and our home church dissolved hence the search for a new permanent church. I'm sure we must've just picked an off day to go. Hopefully as we search for our new church home we will find that welcoming family. The one person we did meet and talk with was very sweet and we appreciated that.

Loving group of men and women who reflect Jesus through their love, honesty, and devotion…read more The emphasis is on being family. Meaning, family is family through good and bad. When folks sin against each other (which will happen, because we're all sinners, that is reality), we don't bail. We don't walk out. We reconcile. Confronting sin, repentance, and reconciliation are regularly emphasized from the pulpit. If, when looking for a church, you prioritize music, teaching style, and aesthetic over the Gospel being lived and preached, this is not the church for you. If you want to be a part of a beautiful family of screw ups in need of Jesus, this can be your home.

This church was amazing at first and my daughter started going her freshman year of college . It…read morewas really enjoyable until they hired a new youth and college ministry pastor . He is inexperienced does not know how to deal with females in college . He has handled many situations in ways that completely go against how the Bible would tell you . The life group college leaders ( not all of them ) are very cliquey and have personally chased students away from the church . When I went to him about a issue with some of his life group leaders he told me the college ministry was to big for gossip to really spread . He was very dismissive of my concerns because I was trying to point out a problem . However 4 months later in a surprise attack meeting with my daughter based on rumors he accused my daughter of spreading dissension in the college ministry. How could that be when in October he told me the college ministry was to big for that . He didn't tell her or have the person accusing her in the meeting he just took it as truth . He has now hired one of the girls who graduated and was a life group leader and is personally responsible for chasing some of the girls away as someone the college girls will go to . She was also accusing my daughter of dissension but we never knew who said it . We now know who said it and anyone that knows girls should realize they cause drama . This girl who my daughter baptized and another girl my daughter had not spoken to went and told people things that actually had come out of their own mouths and blamed it on my daughter. The appropriate thing to do would be to have had the " accuser " in the meeting so it could have been discussed the way Christ teaches us in the Bible . The amount of snobby behavior among a certain group of life group leaders has chased many girls away / You also have a guy that committed a Sa against a girl in the church on the college worship team . It's disgusting. However it appears that no one seems to hold the " youth minister " accountable but someone needs to start paying attention . The things I know about the student ministry make me sick to my stomach and where I once mentioned this church to everyone I will be warning people to stay away and I will make sure my younger daughter never attends this church . I pray that God will open some eyes because to many people are leaving this church in pain . However no one cares as long as you aren't in the clique . A 32 year old man needs a 30 something year old woman to help with the females . Not a girl freshly out of college . However this way he can constantly make himself look good and no one knows how much damage is being done . My heart aches for SO MANY students just looking to worship Jesus being bullied out of the church . May God help you all because I see 9 years ago you got a similar review so I hope this is seen and people will think twice before going here . No church is perfect but this is just sickening and no reflection of Jesus

You will laugh, be convicted, and strengthened all at the same time! They have different classes downstairs for your kids to attend while you worship in the main worship area upstairs free from distractions that kids can definitely cause! Lol! The classes range from infant to kindergarten age. They have a easy sign in process for the kids at a little laptop which after entering your kids info, it'll print out stickers where one you'll stick on your child that identifies their name, age, and class and the other sticker is identical that will go to the teacher. You also get 2 other stickers that you must show when picking up your kids, which keeps the safety for your kids so some random person can't take off with your kid(s). The worship is refreshing and they sing a lot of contemporary Christian songs that is easy to sing along to, and they also have projector screens that show the words just in case someone doesn't know. It's a multicultural church and they are big into mission work. I could go on and on but overall it's a wonderful church to be a part of!
