These guys are terrible. Took 3 appointments to get the job done and it was done incorrectly. They quoted with parts that were not used - the first rain after they did the job, the gutters overflows at the wrong side. We called and they said they will have a sales person out but no call or visit. The first reschedule was due to possible rain which i get. The second was because they weren't prepared to do the job. The 3rd they did the gutter on the front and did it wrong with parts that were not in the contract. They are avoiding resolving the issue since they got partially paid and have not accepted payment for the rest. Run far away from Brothers Gutters if you want a job done right. read more

These guys are the BEST!! We had Guttergaurd which is supposed to have a life time gaurentee. After 20 years, it startedto leak at the corner causing us to have water in our basement. When we called Guttergaurd, they had every excuse not to cover their gaurentee. We got so disgusted with them we decided to call the Brothers that do Gutters. They had installed gutters on the back side of the house and did a great job so we called them to install gutter on the front of the house. Our experience with them was awesome from start to finish. They were GREAT. We love our new gutters and would recommend these guys over anyone else in the valley. Do yourself a favor. Before you waste any of your time with anyone else, call these guys. Would not recommend!! Met with salesperson Steve and walked around my house to discuss what I was looking to do (Had already had a quote from another company and just wanted to compare) after our walk around he wrote up the order with pricing. After discussing the quote and everything we discussed I gave him a check for half the estimate and to schedule work at future date once we completed painting of my house. Well they came to do the job 2 weeks ago and I walked around the house with the installer to go over the work that was discussed with the salesperson Steve. After about a half hour the installer tells me that the only thing on his work order was installing the 2 new sections of gutters with guards and installing small section over my sunroom with gutter guards. At this point I said I would like a call from his boss or someone in management to discuss the situation. Well that never happened so I called the office and spoke with a nice lady that read the work order and said it seemed to think they should have done the other work I discussed with her. Later I received a call from the salesperson Steve to tell me that I was wrong and that he went over everything with me!! Oh and to boot they took me existing gutter guards off the front of my house so now I have no guards on the entire front of my home. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you do business with this company go over you're quote and check off all the work you discuss with the salesperson to make sure that it is on there....shame on me for trusting that the work I wanted done during my walk around wouldn't be included and that my property is now worse off than it was before I agreed to have this work done from this company!!! I had a hanger on my gutter that needed replacement. I filled out the form for a gutter repair. Received a message back confiriming my appointment and said the person would come out. Take about an hour and a half to measure for new gutters. I called and they said oops, they will change it to repair. The guy was in his car writing an estimate. He hadn't come to the door. He was writing an estimate. I said it's for a repair of tge hanger. He said, you can't put a new hanger on a house. You have to get new gutters. (So, they use magic to install their gutters?) He said he would send me an estimate. Again never got out of his car to "measure". Eventually got an email for $1000.00. No, I did not purchase their scam. read more

I am a former builder and now a property manager for multiple properties in the Lehigh Valley. First, The Brothers (this franchise location) is very expensive. After removing the gutter, they hit me with a change order for $1,800 to add replacing the soffit to replacing a 20' gutter and board behind it, doubling the price. The gutter was removed by them at this point so I had no choice because the basement would flood without the gutter. So about $3,800 total for a small job of a 20' section. I expected quality workmanship given the reviews I saw here (I now see many of the reviews are from a user who has only ever left 1 review in their life) and given the high cost. I told the foreman I expect a beautiful job. I have not had worse workmanship. I do not understand why they put their hard edged ladder against both the painted aluminum siding and aluminum window wrap causing dents and scratches. To make it worse, they denied it but they had sent me photos during the work which showed what they did. Then when they removed the old painted white wood soffit they did not use any tarps and left paint chips (from lead paint days) all over my yard. The mulch, widow wells, and landscaping are full of debris. I asked them to clean it up and they used a blower and blew the pieces all over instead of picking it up. I have traded one problem (needing a gutter to drain properly) for three other damages to this Upper Saucon property. They went from dishonest and argumentative (we don't follow lead paint laws without extra fees, there was no wood, we didn't do it) to unresponsive. It just keeps getting worse. read more

I would not recommend Brother Gutters. Had work done in May and very disappointed with the work and the time it's taking to get issues resolved. Gutters were repaired, new brackets, rotted wood and fascia was replaced. Since then I have a waterfall directly outside the front of the home and the fascia work is horrible. The fascia that was there for 20+ yrs looked better. For what I paid to have this work done. It should look beautiful and it does not. There's no way they did the work on the brochure they handed me. They sent someone out in 6/13 to take a look on a day it wasn't raining so he didn't get to see the waterfall. He called and said the pitch was correct and pretty much that was it. The next day we received rain i sent him videos and pics and no response. I then called and they sent someone out. He called when he was in the area on 6/21 but I had no prior notification he was coming that day or i would've made myself available. I sent him pics and videos and my concerns on 6/23. He said they would get back to me. I sent him a text on 7/6, that I didn't receive a call and i got no response. Still waiting. When I first met with them I thought. Finally a company that's going to get the work I need done and do a great job. Yeah that didn't happen. Update: Joe from Brothers Gutters reached out to me on 7/8/. And we were to meet 7/11. On 7/11 I got a text if we could reschedule for Thursday but Friday 15th worked best. On Friday 7/15 I got a text that he needed to reschedule for Monday 7/18. On Monday 7/18 due to weather we had to reschedule for Tuesday 7/19. On Tuesday 7/19 got a message he had to reschedule for Wednesday the 20th. I had to change my plans to accommodate once again. On Wednesday July 20th I met with Andrew. I explained to him my concerns and he agreed that things were not done properly. And the he felt the company just wanted to make things right. Once he looked at everything he said he would let them know at the office what he saw and someone would reach out to me. It's now August 18th and I haven't heard from anyone. read more

Asked for help repairing a downspouts. Greedy estimator said he wouldn't touch it because our gutters( which are inly a few years old) weren't seamless. He basically said if we wanted Brothers to fix the downspouts we needed to replace all of tbe gutters. Money grubbing jerks wouldn't do the work because they wouldn't make a bunch of money! False advertising! Bait and switch sales tactics! These guys are a scam, out to take advantage of people. Not help them. read more

No change to prior posting, just a follow-up on what the estimator said. He did say they had to raise their prices due to gas going to $9 on WFMZ (months ago). In the prior review, I said I looked for that info at the time and never found it. I'm not a sucker as he obviously expected. Many months later I can say truthfully he lied. Stay away. Use Joe Costa, Seamless Gutters in Emmaus. I don't get a kickback and really like and trust Joe. He has his own business and charges a lot less (and he has a gutter maker in his truck). We've been using him I think since we moved here in 2018. It's hard to find people we trust but Joe is one of the few, thank goodness we stumbled on him. read more

Dissapointed. Sent out an estimator to evaluate the issue of improperly pitched copper gutters. Told estimator 5 times that various roofers have looked at this and they just rolled their eyes. The crew they sent out did the best the could but ran into issues they could not resolve . Got a lot of self serving emails from the company but no solution other than putting in extra downspouts. Bull shit. I told this to the estimator that is what others said but he assured me they could fix the pitch. So now I am out money, problem is still there and worse. Be careful of false promises and assurances they can do the job. More importantly and worse is no follow up to resole the problem on site. Just emails saying they did the best they could and blew me off like a dogs breakfast. I liked the crew but the company does not stand behind their representations and warranties. read more

Absolutely the worst gutter company in the state. It took them six weeks to complete a job that should have taken a couple hours. Durring those six weeks my basement flooded multiple times and they could care less. The crews that showed up ( yes crews! Never the same people twice) were completely Incompetent. I had to hold their hands the entire time, otherwise I swear my gutters would have been put in upside down. It's not even a year later and the gutters are already failing. Think they would step up and fix their horrible work...nope they want to charge me 325 dollars. Pure scam artists. The new gutters installed on the back and sides of our home look great. Devin & Mike were great to work with. The number of downspout elbows needed for the job had been underestimated so the downspouts were assembled with some white elbows (the only material the crew had with them). They will come out again to replace the downspouts with the correct wicker color elbows as soon as this order comes in. read more

Called them to come out for a job, they seemed very professional and even sent an email with the scheduled time slot to confirm with confirm button (pressed it and was notified I was confirmed again.) Left work early to meet them at my house and they never showed up. Called 15 and 45 minutes after and nobody answered or called me at all. Using LV Gutters and Siding now. Within 5 business days of contacting the office by email, Lee (the estimator) showed up exactly on time. He climbed up to look at the gutters. Then he took photos that included street views so I could see that these weren't just random yucky gutter photos. 10 days later, the cew came to clean & repair our gutters. The crew was polite, efficient and thorough. They took "before" and "after" photos. In addition to a thorough cleaning, these guys replaced all of our worn gutter hardware with sturdy new hangers. I'm very disappointed with the service from Brothers That Just Do Gutters. My gutter guards were put in and subsequently have much worse drainage, than previously with clogged gutters, resulting in dripping and icicle formation off the full length of the back gutters. Service came back out and adjusted the gutters and informed us that the shingles on the roof were blocking the majority of the space in the gutter guards preventing the water runoff the ability to enter the gutter causing this overflow. Why was this not observed at the time of the installation of the guard or notified that this could cause an issue? The solution recommended upon re-inspection was the shingles should be trimmed back. You also added that your company does not provide that kind of service, and no recommended service provider conveyed to remedy the situation. Had we known the placement of the shingles was going to be an issue we could have had that remedied prior to having the gutter guard installed and saved some money, time and aggravation. read more
