We just purchased a home at the beach, 2 stories. It is an expensive spend and I was very concerned about the huge expanse of gutters and downspouts. Based on reviews I called "The Brothers That Just Do Gutters". They clearly have earned their 5 star reviews. They were professional and timely with their communications. Checked in to ensure an appointment date was good. Let us know ahead they were coming. They reviewed the entire exterior of the house and could have sold me a ton of work. They could have tried to talk me into anything. Instead they said "You don't need us now. Your gutters are in good shape and you can get a handyman to repair the lower parts of the downspouts". Amazing. I TRIED to give them work and they weren't having it. They even gave me the name of a handyman service to rely on. I'll need a new roof in a couple of years and these are the guys who will assess, supply, install, and maintain our gutters. These guys are awesome. I made an appointment to have the gutters cleaned and repaired as they (from the ground view) looked full of debris. He looked over my system and showed me I already had perfectly functioning gutter guards and they only needed blowing off by my landscaper. Great advice and free of charge! read more

I put down a deposit for gutter work. I was told at the beginning that there was a three week delay and that rain might play a part in scheduling. However, over the course of two months my appointment was changed so many times I finally gave up and requested a refund. It was been over a month and still waiting for a refund. Jesse and Orlando showed up right on time to start work on replacing the front gutter and adding gutters all around the house. I didn't talk to the sales rep- John did, so I had second hand info about what was to be done. We had a problem with the front gutter- it didn't cover the entire section over the entrance way/front door & when it rains, you couldn't get through the doorway without getting soaked! The problem is architecture design- we have bump out features on the front of the house and one bump out comes 1/3 into the section of the front door. This was the entire reason why we called to have someone replace it and the sales guy sold my other half on doing the rest of the house. So when I walked outside and saw that they had replaced the front gutter the same exact way it had been before I let Jesse know that it wasn't going to work- we would still get wet coming through the door and explained how that specific problem was why we hired them in the first place. Just a little miscommunication- so Jesse asked if he could use my hose and a few minutes later- he was experiencing exactly the problem. He offered to add a separate piece of gutter to the small section, but didn't have enough downspout to insert one & didn't think it would look good with downspouts on either side of the from door. He recommended a rain chain. A What??? Yup- learn something new everyday- a rain chain (if you're clueless like I was) is a decorative alternative to a down spout that you hang from the gutter- very popular in Japan. A quick google search and I saw I could buy one inexpensively from numerous stores and even order it online. Ok- we have a plan! The sales guy had said they could do one full gutter across the front and implied that there was something to help bridge the 1 to 1 1/2 inch difference between the transitions of the roof line, but either it wasn't communicated or maybe it can't be done? I was momentarily frustrated- but problem got resolved. Jesse even offered to come out and install the rain chain for me, but we got it done ourselves. As for the rest of the house- wow! Two men and I watched them put up the first side of gutter- it matched the color of the house perfectly, looked like it had always been there and they were done quite quickly. One other miscommunication was that John had asked for the downspouts to have extensions at the bottom- to have the water flow out a little further off the house and they didn't do that either and I don't think they had enough material to do it. The workers- 5 stars, the gutters- 5 stars, the communication from estimate to install was meh- 2-3 stars. read more

Adam arrived early and got right to work on the repairs. I thought it was going to be a whole lot more involved. He assured me they were in good shape and had the repairs done in no time. After paying the deposit, I was contacted 2 days later with work to start that day if it was convenient for me due to a cancelation.
