They actually were gracious enough to come back out, after I had another roofer here the other day. Bo was nothing short of having great customer service, which I really appreciated! He came out early this morning. He was the one doing the inspection. He got up on the roof, was up there for roughly 20 minutes, taking pictures, looking at the damage, etc. After he was done, he showed me the wear and tear we had on our 5.5 year old roof. Which he said seems pretty early for a newer house. He suspected it was due to elements, water coming down from our gutter, and lack of a seal. When I didn't understand something, he referenced the pictures, explained the problems to me. He gave us two options, one was a quick fix, that he could do today. Essentially putting a bandaid on the situation. He'd seal the seam between the house and the roof, and update a few things. The other was a more costly repair, essentially repairing the shingles, adding a waterproof barrier, and roughly 3xs the price, but it was more in line with the other roofer who stopped by to give us a quote. Whomever we decide to go with, I felt like Paradigm had great customer service, friendly, and was fair. I appreciated them coming out in a hurry.

While there were a few others that came in a little lower on the price and one that was overpriced, I came back to Tropical Gutter Pros because of their level of customer service, communication, full explanation/itemized invoice and warranty on parts/labor. I was in the process of getting my roof replaced so we scheduled the installation a couple weeks out. They came out today(5/28/24) and got the job done fast and efficiently. I agree with all the nice things said about Angi and her crew. They were right on time and worked…read morefast. The color match is not perfect but better than I expected. All gutters are secured well. It will also be nice to not worry about the gutters flying off in a storm. I'm a little disappointed with a couple of the downspouts, though. I was hoping that a professional gutter specialist would be about to hug the wall better than what was already there. For example, the front downspout, is crooked in the middle and the opening does not face toward the street but rather inward. The back downspout has a big gap. When asked, Angi quickly sent a lengthy reply why they could not improve on the original installation and recommended I use downspout extensions for drainage. I accept that I should have been more thorough with my questioning. So, If you use this company for a replacement project, remember to clearly state any improvements you expect up front and do not expect them to improve on any of the flaws in the original gutters.
