I don't know if the DJ was the same but the music was awesome both of the times, keep the good work!!! The staff is friendly; the bartender told me Rye and ginger is the most drank combination, so when in Canada do as they, just watch out, tastes smoothly but hits you hard, well maybe after the 4th. This second time a guy had the amazing touch of sending me a drink (thank you!!). This time I arrived too early, people started showing up around 11:30. A bizarre anecdote: a lady approached me, booty bumped me, asked where I was from and left. A cool thing: while dancing a luchador appeared with lights in the shoes. I heard on amateur night the wings are half off. A few of my friends have taken the classes and really enjoyed them. I've enjoyed seeing them and their classmates nail their class shows. All of the comedians I've seen at Levity have been very funny in they own unique way. Then a handwritten stained pieces of folded notebook paper and crossed out words here and there, presenting it to us as the "currently availability hookah flavors" (red flag) . We ask to see the manager, who walks in and tried to make a package deal to accommodate the lack of availability from all departments. Hungry ad realizing there is not much to eat, we ask for our cover money back to leave. We are approached by promoter who refuses to return our money and begins arguing with manager about lack of food or hookah flavors or drinks (red flag) . The unprofessional Promoter goes back to negotiate giving us back half but returns with 4 bouncers and forces us out of the place and curses at us upon us asking for our refund after he tells us he is not allowed to serve us hookah tobacco because the place is not licensed to do so , and continues to yell at us as we walk out the door .
