I like The Burger's Priest and find it to be a reliably delicious burger brand. I particularly like how the burger is smashed onto the grill, leaving behind a crispy yet juicy burger. That is beautiful and an art. This particular location is in a giant superplex strip mall situation and stands on it's own with lots of parking around. I had a burger with blue cheese and bacon, plus fries. It all came out hot, fast, and fresh. My boyfriend really enjoyed his buffalo chicken tenders and it's great that they have all kinds of options like that, over to a stuffed mushroom burger to accomodate all kinds of taste buds. We ordered our food for pick-up on the Burger Priest website. The website was easy and efficient to use, and provided real time updates of the food preparation process. When we arrived at the restaurant, our order was ready for pickup. The restaurant is a decent size with plenty of seating for patrons. We ordered three burgers: the Vatican, the California Classic and a regular cheeseburger, with fries. I found the buttered bun of the California Classic a little too greasy (but that's just me, others may prefer their bun this way). The burgers were large and the meat was fresh. I didn't feel "gross" after eating it, which to me, is an indication of quality meat. Will definitely be back. read more

We love Burgers Priest but were really disappointed in our visit tonight - we were a group of 6 and waited for far too long while many groups who ordered after us got their orders faster. once we did get out meal 2 orders were wrong and 1 was completely missed. the staff was lovely and attempted to fix it but still got it wrong on the second try. a OG burger with lettuce shouldn't be so hard. Burgers are not my go to! However I do like Webber Burgers and Burgers Priest on occasion! Maybe the only time I eat the meat sandwich! There is something about Burgers Priest that is so good! The beef and cheese maybe? I'm not sure. I don't eat my burgers conventionality, (just a heads up). I like them plain with out bread, ketchup, and mustard. I do however like them with cheese and pickles. The pickles must be a good quality kosher dill for them to deserve the word! BTW this is more of a pickle review than a burger review! I can't help but get a craving from time to time for Burger's Priest. I've eaten here several times, and don't know why I didn't review it sooner. Anyway, great burgers, with unique options, good fresh fries and for a happy ending, they now have some pretty creative ice cream creations. This time I deviated from my usual High Priest and got the Red Sea, which is essentially a chili burger, dressed up the way you want it. It came in a clamshell container, and knowing how messy this puck can be, I opted to use the plastic fork to eat the overflowing chili from around the edges before attempting to pick it up. Surprise! The springy fork caught the clamshell and developed enough potential energy to launch a healthy payload of chili into the air, and in true ballistic fashion, landed on most of me. My biggest regret was that I was now short exactly one mouthful of delicious chili. Fun with food, yes, but this I was not expecting. At least my staff got a good laugh! read more

Burgers Priest's shakes are disgusting. I used to love Burgers Priest's milk shakes because they were made with real ice cream and milk. They tasted fantastic. Sometimes I would go in just for a milk shake. The other day however I witnessed how they are now making them with vanilla soft serve and flavoured syrups. No milk. Nothing to dilute it enough to make it drinkable. It wasn't even cold. Neither do they call them "milk" shakes. Just shakes. If they're going cheap with those how long will be before the quality of everything else is abandoned? They have thoroughly lost this customer. read more

Sorry for the half eaten burger! With the burger we were eating we felt the need to rush eat it , but I did want to get a photo ! A clean restaurant with friendly , and seem to be hardworking staff. I tried the Vatican On Ice which was hard ice cream on a bun swished between grilled cheese. This was quite a messy item as the ice cream did melt, however that did not bother me! It did taste good despite the weird combination, I just personally have a hard time biting ice cream ! However the cool and hot combo was very fun and different! Burger's Priest has great burgers and fries. I used to go to their downtown location so I wanted to try this location. The food didn't disappoint. The meat was savory and melts in your mouth. I like that you can add whatever toppings you want but their pre-designed burgers are great too! The Cali Classic was delish - get extra secret sauce to dip your fries in! The dessert was okay - I got the cookie crumble one and it was basically ice cream with a cookie and some drizzle. I expected something crazier for the price but it was good soft serve. This eatery is absolutely terrible! After driving by a couple times I decided it was time to indulge in a burger from them. I ordered a burger and fries and was tremendously disappointed. The pathetic little thing came out of the kitchen oozing with shame. The burger had no flavour, very dry, and had mediocre toppings (lettuce and tomato). The sauce that came on the burger...well I wish I could write about it but I couldn't taste it, it was spreaded so thin it just left a small spot. Mind you this is the house sauce, the sauce that comes on a lot of the burgers. The fries, the fries were just ok, better then the burger but still just ok. A lot of the fries were only maybe a centimetre or two in length which just isn't worth my time to clean my fingers after getting ketchup all over them. Decided to try this out to see what all the hype is about. Not much parking at this location. There are so many restaurants in the area and it seems that the other establishments patrons are using this parking as well. When we walked in there was a group of people standing around the cash. The menu is located on the back wall to the left of the cash. It's hard to see. The menu is small which is fine. Don't need a thousand options. I ordered a cheese burger, my husband had the Vatican which is two patties between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. He added bacon. We shared cheese fries and a can of pop. Came to $30. Kind of pricey. We were given a number card and sat in the dining room. Decor is industrial. I like it. After 10 mins our number was called. It came on a metal tray. The patty on the burger was amazing. Looked like hand pressed. So tasty. Although my burger was really small for the price. My husband burger was mammoth. The cheese on the fries was just finely shredded cheddar. Not much on the fries really. The fries tasted like hand cut with the skin on. Yummy. This was definitely a treat. Wouldn't be able to go very often due to cost. This was a huge disappointment!! I don't understand why the prices are so high for low grade food. The buns used are dollar store buns. They are too small for the burgers and ingredients, not to mention that they break apart when your grab the entire burger to bite into it. The burger patty itself was okay, but not seasoned in any way, so I'm not quite what the hype is all about. For this price point, old rather eat in a nice restaurant with great presentation in their food. The fries are your standard average fare as they're too small. For this Price point I expect thick freshly cut fries. The gravy was good. The price point was very disappointing at $42 for two burgers to fries and two gravies. Went in here for the first time. The place looks really nice and clean, lots of space and nice music on. The burgers are great. Really good, made exactly to order. The fries are awesome. That's all we had, they also have ice cream which we will try on our way out. Visited the new barrie location. Nice layout, spacious with a decent amount of seating. The staff keep it nice and tidy and are quite friendly. Like most reviewers of burgers priest I find it to be slightly overpriced for what you receive. The burgers are certainly good but priced a buck or two higher than I would expect. The menu has a nice variety of burgers and an old school feel with ice cream and floats available. Pop is only available in cans. Fries are fresh and excellent. I recommend the California classic! Overall worth a visit but a place I'll only drop into here and there due to pricing. Overall 3.5/5 stars. If the price was a little lower its an easy 4. Also just to note the burgers are usually dripping with grease and fat, not the healthiest but pretty tasty. read more

Second BP experience. This chain is just getting going. Hopefully it will grow up. I ordered a low priest, paid $10 and received a cheeseburger ($6) instead. I didn't get a receipt with my meal and rather than get into a debate about what I ordered and endure the wait again I just ate it. The burgers are decent here even if you get what you didn't pay for. The patio is nice but there is no shade. No garbage and nothing to prevent the birds above from crapping from their perches onto the tables and seats. Gross. Most places get on that. Serving everyone in a brown paper bag and not using trays seems wasteful. When you are done either you abandon your garbage where you are or carry it all the way thru the dining room to the front door. Doesn't seem well thought out but whatever, I am not cleaning up the place. The service here was faster than the Etobicoke location but the messed up the order. The beef is spot on and the bun was great. Hope they make improvements and get successful. read more

Pretty darn good burger at an upscale price. I had the California Classic and would have it again. The staff is young and super friendly. It's kinda crowded and slow at lunch but seating seems to be always available. Decor tries to be trendy but misses the mark and just looks cluttered. The service here was very good. The employee taking my order was very nice and enthusiastic. I ordered the Vatican City burger with a black cherry float and fries. I received my food within 10 minutes which is good. When I was eating my burger it was dripping grease the entire time. It was mediocre at best with very bland toppings. By the end of it my friend (who also got the vatican) and I both felt sick. The fries are not that intriguing as they don't have much taste to them. The float was really good. They used a Colt brand black cherry soda with vanilla ice cream.
