This is an absolutely adorable little coffee shop and is exactly what SoBo needs. Over several visits, I've had the iced/hot chai latte, mocha milkshake, the club sub, and some monkey bread. The chai latte is a bit mediocre and tastes mostly like milk. The mocha milkshake was really great, and I will definitely be ordering that more come springtime. The club sub is nice and simple (the only difference between it and the Turkey Ham Melt is that it has bacon, bacon ranch spread, and French toasted bread instead of Italian bread). I think it's fairly priced especially with the chips; a sandwich like this in NY would easily cost over $10. The monkey bread tasted fresh and homemade, so I definitely want to try more of their pastries. I'm really glad that this is here in SoBo.

After working sm over night which I haven't done in years. I woke up wanting coffee at noon'ish. I already knew the nearest C main code was 40 or so minutes away!!! Soo i open my Yelp and found this cute little spot nestled in a corner on the edge of downtown. There was plenty of parking on the street. I walked in and was greeted by cute ness all over. Kind of reminds me of those tea shops with petit cakes where all the grandmas go with their fancy hats. "They really utilize all of the space" I over heard another customer say. Anyway i ordered an iced americano and chicken salad Sandwich. It was really good and not dry like some other salad I've had (my own). It's a nice little date spot with a friend or yourself.

All my relatives demand we go for breakfast whenever they visit. Fine with me I love their breakfast AND lunch at Busy Bean. They love the coffee... especially the reasonable prices and my go to is a smoothie. It is also a delight to shop with our eyes as we eat, usually buying a "something you can't live without" from their collection of gifts on the side. Of course you can't leave without a dessert....especially a lemon bar. Busy Bean is a "must see" when in South Boston, VA.

Such a cute coffee/breakfast/lunch/dessert/gallery spot! The inside is a lot bigger than the outside let's on. Parking is on the street. They have what appears to be amateur art for sale inside. They also have a wooden hook game to play if you need something to do. You place your order at the counter and they'll bring it out when your order is ready. You may have to remind them to bring your dessert out if you order other food items. You seat yourself and they have so many cute seating options to choose from. I am in love with the green sofa! The coffees are really good and have so many flavor options to choose from. They even had a lavender honey flavor, which I may try next time. I got the coconut cream pie this time and really enjoyed it. My daughter got the strawberry lemonade and she loved it. I thought it was a bit too syrupy. She had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. I didn't try it, but she said it was just OK. I did have the avocado toast and thought it was just OK as well. It would be improved if the avocado would come smashed with seasonings instead of sliced and throwing on some sunflower seeds would also help with flavor and appearance. We tried one of the danishes. I'm not sure if it was cherry, strawberry, or raspberry, but either way it would have been better if it had a bit more filling and also if they had offered to warm it. Anyway, this is a nice spot and we will be visiting frequently, but some minor adjustments to the food would be nice too. Don't get me wrong, there's several places to eat around here and most of them are no where near as good as this coffee shop.

There is so much they offer. As far as eating they have Breakfast (smoked salmon bagel!), hot if cold sandwiches (the Jezabel ham!), salads (green ones but I love chicken salad), specialty pizzas (Neapolitan Nod!), and charcuterie boards! Then there is an extensive selection of teas, espresso based drinks, and wines (white, red, or sparking). You can enjoy a glass or a bottle. I've been to my share of coffee shops where the espresso based drinks either tasted burned or were so sugary you feel a diabetic coma upcoming. Not so here. Theirs are perfection with perfect balance of strong and sweet if you like flavors. Then there's a rotating bit of seasonal syrups and house-curated drink options. My favorite is the atmosphere. Couches and comfy large armed chairs, great art, tables outside, what's not to love? The owners take such pride in their shop. They keep it clean, always have a smile and kind word, and make sure their staff has that same spirit. This places puts the best out there for Danville.

It's three restaurants under one roof! The buttery yellow exterior is warm and inviting, with gardens, arches, outdoor lights, lovely courtyard, and even a surrounding white picket fence! In this tiny town of Lunenburg, it was quite a surprise to find this countryside tea room/café/tavern! What a perfect location for weddings, and other events! We came for tea! The tea service is at 2:30 and the hosts kindly accommodated us calling a day ahead, as reservations are required. We were tickled pink when we entered the foyer painted a bright magenta with shelves of teacups and wide-brimmed fancy hats along the walls. Our table was in a cottage-styled room with English chintz floral tablecloths, robin egg blue walls, a cozy fireplace guarded by a hot pink lion statue keeping watch over his domain we dubbed him Pepper), and weathered wooden fences provided the backs for the benches, so shabby chic! We loved the bird motif throughout this cozy room! The mantle was strewn with various bird figurines, amidst bird houses & nests displayed at various spots around the room. Our places were set with beautiful rose patterned china, as Paul, our host offered us tea! He then brought the multi-tiered plate server that held the most delectable small bites I'd ever had at a tea room! Paul was extremely amiable and spot on as he described the offerings. He informed us that the chef, his wife Kathy, made everything from scratch! There was a scrumptious ham, cheese and green pepper quiche, an amazing spinach/feta pastry, and a creative Reuben pinwheel with homemade sauerkraut! Then of course, the classic cucumber finger sandwiches! We were blown away by the savories! The sweet potato & cinnamon scones were fluffy, dense and perfectly sweetened, served with a cinnamon vanilla whipped cream... delicious! For the dessert course, we we served pumpkin spice mini cakes & homemade chocolate truffles. Wow! We were completely satisfied with the food and the service was impeccable! A delightful conversation ensued with Paul and Kathy as we learned how they met and decided to open this establishment! Paul is also a shoemaker, and serves the local community cobbler services in a small shop behind the main farmhouse! After our meal, we wandered to the second tearoom which was painted a golden yellow with heavy wooden furniture exhibiting loads of china, coffee/tea urns, teapots, and collectibles. The focal point is the bright white fireplace, decorated for the season! Note the gorgeous Indian quilt wall hanging, quite a story there! This room is definitely more of an classic English style. Through the archway you enter the café, a much more casual atmosphere with a few tables donning oilcloth tablecloths, checkered floors, and a hutches and shelves filled with various teas, coffees, and gifts. Here the locals gather for sandwiches, salads, and a few menu specials! Also, along with homemade cakes and pies for dessert, they serve Richlands Ice Cream! The next room is the cozy British tavern with a couple high-top tables and seating at the small bar. I could definitely see my hubby and I here grabbing a pint, some pub fare and listening to live music. A blue leather chair, Guinness signs, suits of armor and deer heads add to the rustic, warmth of this quaint tavern. Nothing short of a power couple, Paul and Kathy have a flair for making their customers into their friends! I certainly hope they thrive and survive during this pandemic because it's obvious they are serving the community and surroundings towns with the best in culinary pleasures!

They were very busy and there was a bit of a wait, but everyone in the shop was friendly and warm, which only added to the cozy experience. As one of the few coffee shops in Hillsborough, Cup A Joe feels like more than a quick espresso stop; it's more of a spot that helps time slow down--where you actually sit down with a latte and chat with friends.

If you are the type that doesn't want to know what a real working kitchen looks like, keep rolling because this isn't your place. Love Cafe offers soups, salads, bowls, smoothies, breakfast, tacos, and wraps. We popped in at about 1:30 and they even offered to serve us breakfast, if we wanted it (typically stop serving after 10:30) which was very sweet. I got one of their bowls which are customizable or you can order one of their staple options. Bowls are served with your choice of protein options, base (quinoa, rice or Cali rice), 6 toppings like black beans, cheeses, veggies and sunflower seeds, and sauce/dressings. I got the chicken bowl with sesame ginger dressing and it was made fresh and a great healthy option for something fast. My travel companion got the Shrimp tacos with mango salsa. The "tacos" were more like a large burrito type tortilla cut in half to make two "tacos". Shrimp was ok but not really seasoned or special. This felt like an open wrap more than a taco. But still a nice option for a quick lunch on the healthy side. All in all we were very happy that we found this cute spot, would be happy to return and try other items. Friendly service and a bright spot to our day!

The owner gave me a warm and friendly welcome and explained all the food items they had for breakfast and lunch. They have freshly baked New York Bagels shippedfrom New York daily. To drink I ordered a medium Caffè Mocha. To eat I ordered a Breakfast Sandwich with a Cloverdale Plain Bagel, with Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. And finish with something sweet, a Cherry Danish. The Mocha was amazingly good The Bagel was very large and fresh; crunchy on the outside and soft and moist ingredients the inside with a nice size portion of Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. I spent some time there and was able to meet one of the employees who happened to arrive during this time. I also met a nice older couple who enjoy eating at different restaurants and I recommended them Crooked Shoreline Steak and Seafood from Daleville, which I just finished eating there and few days before, and was the first to review this restaurant for Yelp.
