Delicious coffee. Great beans. People should stop getting their sugary crap from Starbucks and drink real coffee

This was my first time going here. Not the greatest. Coffee tastes burnt. Would not buy again.

The baristas were very welcoming and knowledgeable, providing a sample of the coffee (we were given a coffee from Burundi) , providing some information on their harvesting and roasting practices, and opening up the floor to an audience Q&A. Ambiance is very modern and chic and there are two bathrooms open to visitors in the facility. I would recommend going on time to the tasting if possible for the best seating/experience. I came 15 min late and the seats were all taken and it was a full house. There were no issues with finding parking; there is a gravel lot adjacent to the roastery. Overall, a very unique experience!

They drizzled some of the coffee concentrate onto ice cream, which was amazing! I can't wait until they start supplying local stores. Hopefully, it will be available in stores for customers in the future!

He was very friendly and very personable. You can tell he absolutely loves his city and coffee. He was just phenomenal. Several regulars stopped in and he knew them by name. They were equally as excited and praised his coffee. They had me super excited and glad that I stopped by. He does not sell prepared coffee drinks in the shop, but did recommend local bakeries and cafes that did. BTW, Dots & Pearls was one he recommended and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! He sales coffee beans. This is a roastery, so you're getting fresh roasted beans from some of the most notable coffee regions in the country. It is awesome. I purchased a bag of Sumatra dark roast and a big bottle of chai concentrate. My partner said the chai is delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend that you stop by and chat it up with the owner and of course purchase some high quality coffee. I definitely cannot wait to come back to High Point. Oh yeah, you can purchase the coffee online!!

I'm a big fan of lighter-roasted, funky, expressive coffees, and Black & White absolutely delivers. Their roasting style leans into vibrant, fruit-forward profiles, and they do it with confidence. The downtown Raleigh location is fantastic too. It's right in the middle of everything, making it a great stop for a date night, meeting up with friends, or just dropping in for a quick but exceptional cup. Their seasonal menu was small but mighty -- just a couple of options -- but the kind where every drink looks so good you wish they'd never rotate them off the menu. I started with the orange cardamom flat white, and it was perfect in every way. Beautifully presented and incredibly balanced. The espresso, milk, orange, and cardamom all complemented each other without any one flavor taking over. It was nuanced, aromatic, and just a joy to drink. For my second drink, I ordered a Rodrigo Sanchez pour-over, a co-fermented Colombian coffee labeled with passion fruit notes. It was everything I want from a pour-over -- bright, juicy, and expressive, with the kind of sweet stone fruit and berry notes that make light-roasted coffee so exciting. Black & White continues to prove why they're one of the most respected specialty roasters around. If you love adventurous coffee with huge flavor and careful execution, this place is an absolute must-visit.

There is a business next door but they have strict signs up that for state no parking for "the pod" only their business. Which is understandable. Once entering I was greeted promptly by a smiling male employee. He was super friendly, made me feel welcomed, it definitely made me feel that I was valued as a customer. Thank you young man! The inside is beautifully decorated, they have a variety of things for purchase also. It's so clean, super DOOPER clean!! The restroom is so clean also. The menu is not overwhelming which is good. Enough variety to please anyone. I ended up getting the chicken and gnocchi soup, homemade pimento cheese sandwich. The soup was the bomb, very chunky, carrots, celery, plenty of gnocchi, the chicken seemed grilled and it was a good amount of it. The pimento cheese sandwich was very good, very stout sharp cheese flavor, it's pretty strong, with lots of flavor. I got the bread toasted which is so good, try it. I did try a speciality coffee, Cupid Kiss, it has notes of white chocolate and raspberries. This combination is so yummy together. It was definitely awesome! They do have oak milk, which I prefer. Highly recommend this business keeping this as a routine on their menu. They do have a variety of pastries and other sweets if you would like to give them a try. They looked super yummy! I was full so no room for any sweets. I would definitely, highly recommend , you better stop in and give this place a try!!! You will not be disappointed!!!! Service is off the charts!!!!
