OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS! BRAVO! OFFICIALLY SATISFIED, SATIATED, & FULFILLED! Been awaiting this restaurant's entrance into the GP cuisine scene; this newly opened local Indian cuisine gem to Grande Prairie blew away my expectations beyond belief and just amazed my tastebuds (I can still taste the burst of flavours from all the foods, just reading through this review as I write it out). Been dating a Sri Lankan for a while now, so I might be a bit spoiled with flavourful foods daily. So it was an absolute pleasure to dine somewhere that matches that and makes Authentic Biryani ("looks and tastes exactly like it does back home in Colombo, Sri Lanka" wifey said that after the food was brought out and she had a spoonful). Well, let me tell you about that Bison Biryani, these folks here didn't take no shortcuts with this one. Prepared it just as it's done back in South East Asia; no cheating, the spices, herbs everything was perfect! Long grain bismati rice, cooked over a low flame with crispy onions, tomato, garlic and ginger. Flavoured up with "The Butter Chicken Co" special blend of exotic spices, and served with Raita (cucumber yogurt dip) on the side. The lamb Shank Rogan Josh, Enough said, whew! This can be ordered mild, medium, hot or extra hot spiced! I can't even put into words how delicious this curry was; the lamb shank was literarily drop of the bone tenderly slow cooked and greatly complimented the curry it accompanied. (You would have to try it yourself, to even be able to remotely fathom what's going through my mind rightnow). The fettuccine and shrimp Alfredo, was just as amazing as the other dishes we ordered. The last time I had such amazing fettuccine was back in St. John's Newfoundland, at a little amazing local Newfoundland cuisine spot called "Bacalao". It's not often, we order a variety of different dishes; and have each one just absolute blow away our expectations above and beyond! But today, that was case and I'm still smiling here; taking it all in. Had their Vanilla and Orange Crème Brûlée, which didn't disappoint as well! The services was impeccable and prompt, some very committed folks work at this respectful and amazing establishment. Today, this evening, this dining experience was the absolute perfect ending to my first Sunday of March 2019. Folks, I can't preach enough about how amazing the food was; I dare you to visit this location with high expectations. They will blow it away, and then some! Excellent food and excellent service. Went out for supper for my birthday with my wife and daughter. We had three different dishes anD they were all excellent. Lots of variety on the menu three different levels of spicy. I had hot others had mild. Both were very good. Naan bread was great. Their pricing is off, you pay $16 for just butter chicken, no side of rice or anything, you have to pay and extra $5 for a side of rice or you can pay $25 and get butter chicken with rice. The butter chicken was runny and only came with 6 small pieces of chicken. The service was slow and the waitress never even said anything about the random nut that was in my rice. Absolutely amazing food and the service was wonderful. My family and I showed up 5 minutes before closing, not only did they stayed open to allow us to finish but did it with open arms. I would definitely recommend eating here. read more

Sub par Indian restaurant. Bad management, cashiers dont seem to know what their doing, multiple times I have been shorted on orders, this place is not run very well and I will not be going back. Rice doesnt even come with a $17 plate. Not to mention theres fillers in the rice... There are much better alternatives in town read more

We ate the butter chicken, samosas and chana masala. All were delicious! The service was awesome. The gentleman that served us was extremely polite and speedy and they even gave us a dessert on the house!! We will definitely be coming back. read more

Pretty good. The name is a little misleading as there are only about 4 actual Indian dishes on the menu. I had the butter chicken, which tasted more or less authentic. I misread the menu and thought this dish came with both rice and vegetables, but it came with either or. I would have gone with veg over rice but I wasn't given the option. It was still a good meal, though. At the end we were brought a very tasty complimentary dessert, I assume to make up for the miscommunication re: the rice vs veg, which was appreciated. If I'm back in GP I will visit again. read more

Best Indian food in GP! They also have a huge menu of non-Indian dishes so there is something for everyone. Fantastic service and you can tell they really care about your experience. One of the previous reviews indicated there were only 4 Indian items on the menu and that is not true - maybe at the time of that review. read more

It was a great evening out with a friend, incredible food and service. Ingredients we're fresh and tasty...and the Naan... incredibly good.

Gone there at 2 pm on a Sunday for lunch. We were not expecting much as it is a weekend. Ordered hot vindaloo chicken, biryani chicken, and plain naan. Restaurant is simple, warm atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. Nice background music, no blaring tv. Menu has good selection of Indian and Western food including a few choices of vegan dishes. All the food we ordered was freshly cooked and so surprisingly tasty and delicious. The chef came out to say hello. We were so glad he did as we wanted to thank him personally and to say how much we enjoyed the food. read more

Was not impressed with my experience. I had the shrimp fettuccine, the shrimp was hard and rubbery. Tails were left on. Garlic bread was mush. My hubby had a burger, the bun was falling apart before he even picked it up. he had asked for gravy and got enough to cover literally 2 fries. And it was $$50! read more
