I trusted this firm with my grandmother's malpractice case, which should have been a very straightforward case to prove. Instead, for almost a year I was given empty assurances, delays, and excuses. I had to call and push for months just to finally get a response. By the time they finally answered me, they admitted my case had been sitting for months without progress -- all while my family was grieving and the statute of limitations was slipping away. He told me after all this time that they would not pursue the case because they could not secure a medical expert opinion. If that was the situation, it should have been determined much earlier instead of stringing me along for nearly a year. He even acknowledged there was an argument for negligence but still left me without help, wasting precious time I could have spent seeking another attorney. This firm showed a complete lack of urgency, communication, and professionalism. Losing a loved one is devastating enough -- being dragged along and ignored by the people who are supposed to fight for justice makes it even worse. You never plan for accident, but in 2017 it happened to us. Two cars cascaded to rearend my Wifes car. We looked for a lawyer to represent us. We found Chris Cagle. We felt very good after meeting him and his team. The complicating factor is that one car hit another car, which rear-ended my wife. My wife recovered from much pain from the accident, and the car was repaired. This attorney and staff are extremely unprofessional. You call them and the receptionists transfers you to people that she says can assist you, but they do not, I left message after message and no call back from the attorney and or assistant. Finally, after calling over and over, I got a hold of a person whom finally spoke to me about the HOA Issue I had with them. I made my payment through Infrastrure 2019 and it showed confirmation on online. But some how it never was deducted form my account so Covered Bridge Subdivision whom is also managed by people that just like to collect a paycheck and not earn it. I have lived in this subdivision for 14 years and have always paid HOA Dues. I called the attorney to try to find out what the letter was for I had no clue as to why Covered Bridge had send my account to an attorney and the first call no one was available to speak to me so I told the receptionist I would call back, I called the next day still no one to speak to me, so I told her that I was concerned about the letter I had received so she said she would transfer me to someone and to leave a message, I did, no call, a week passed by called again left another message no call back. Called again I told the receptionist that no one had called me and that I needed to speak to someone, I finally stated to her that I needed to speak to the attorney and she said he was not available, and that she would find someone to assist me, which finally had a woman answer and I told her how I had called many times and had left many messages and no one had made the effort to call me. I asked her what the letter was for and she said I had not paid my dues. Which I explained to her that I had on the website which I had done year after year. She stated that I had to pay and that I was on a timer and that the conversation was costing me money and I would be billed. I called Covered Bridge to verify and sent them a check. Next thing I got another letter from this attorney with another bill this time for $1,000 plus called the attorney again no one to speak to, called again because this is absolute nonsense. Again Finally spoke to the same woman and she said the payment was late which I explained to her that I could not get anyone from that office to call me back nor could i get ahold of anyone. She could care less and again she proceeded by saying that I was on a timer and would be billed. The payment was not late I waited for them to call me to explain their the letter. They were late and they penalize people for their lack of efficiency. I asked to speak to the attorney and she said to email him which I did, no response expected that of course. There was absolutely no reason for me not to pay my HOA dues, I do not believe anyone would not pay on purpose, knowing how this vicious firm is. I have lived in this subdivision for over 14 years and hate to sell my home of many years, due to the fact that this subdivision is being managed by unprofessional people that do not assist the people who pay for their paychecks. I you would recommend this firm nor the Covered Bridge HOA Management both of these business are poorly managed. read more
