I love this hidden gem. The owner is such an amazing person. She really put love into what she does. The cupcakes are perfect. My favorite one is the Rose/almond cupcake! I never liked any florals in my cakes but the way the cake cottage does it is like no other. Their set up inside is just the cutest cottage like vibe. There is a corner for the kids to sit and read. You can also bring a book to their library to add along. It's just the cutest family based bakery in St. Cloud. read more

The flavors, the freshness, the textures, the aesthetics everything is just beautiful. I purchased the rose almond cupcake, which was delicious and the mini charcuterie worth every bite! I found The Cake Cottage at the Bridal Expo before my wedding. I never thought I'd love rose buttercream but the minute I tasted it, I knew I'd found my baker. She was so easy to work with and collaborative. My cake was everything I wanted it to be and more!! Guests loved it and so did we!! If we didn't live out of town, we'd frequent her shop very often! I noticed this little bakery when I stopped at Papasans for dinner. A great Vietnamese Restuarant. The initial visit I bought 2 different cupcakes; chocolate and carrot cake and a chocolate cookie, all were gluten and dairy free. They do sell wheat baked items too. They were absolutely delicious. I ordered a mocha latte which was very tasty and I learned that they sell Costa Rican Coffee which I love and think is the best coffee grown with no chemical or pesticides. It is roasted locally at the Lake Nona roasting company. Today I had the cinnamon chocolate chip cookie and it was big and very delicious. I ordered black coffee and that was tasty too. They make cakes, cupcakes and cookies for all occasions. You've got to come try it! read more

I hate to write this review but feel it is necessary. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday and I really wanted to support a small business instead of going to Publix.. PROS: Owner (I think) was super nice. Friendly to deal with! Was ready on time and packaged very nice. The cake was decorated beautifully. Exactly like the pic I sent her. My daughter got great pics with the cake. CONS: When I cut into the cake it was 90% frosting. VERY little actual cake. What cake was in there was dry and frosting was flavorless. All you could taste was frosting. $$$ I don't mind paying a lot if the quality is good. But this was not. Very disappointed in the quality of taste in this cake. Thankfully there was only 4 of us eating this. I would have been embarrassed if it was for a big party. Needless to say nobody wants another piece so probably will be throwing out. Guess back to Publix it is. read more

The brownies here are very good. The cookies are also good. I have not had their cheesecake But man the cupcakes are bad. Like so bad that they should really consider no longer selling them and just increase the amount of the other baked goods that they carry. The frosting is hard and lacking flavor. Basically every frosting tastes the same. The thickness of the frosting makes me feel like it is made with crisco or something instead of butter cream. But I don't know that for sure. read more

I absolutely love cookies ! Especially cookies that are made from scratch. The cake cottage offers both of those things minutes from my house and let me tell you this place is amazing ! The staff incredibly friendly with a wide selection of cookies and cupcakes. The S'more cupcake is magic for your tastebuds ! The double chocolate chip cookie made me question reality with how delicious the cookie was. They also have a cozy section where you can sit down and enjoy some coffee while eating the delicious baked goods they offer.
