They are putting in a lot of effort to improve the park. The family that runs it is very nice and helpful. It's located right across from the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum. We walked over one afternoon and took the tour of her home and walked through the museum. Neat place. The RV park is very grassy with gravel. Our site was pretty level and had lots of shade. Not all sites have full hookups so be sure to ask when you reserve. Some are just W/E. There is a creek that runs along the property that is cool and beautiful. Fun to splash in. Lots of trees on the property. There is also a small pond, a natural cave to explore, and plenty of areas to walk your dog if needed. A bathhouse next to the office has two restrooms, two showers, and laundry. We used the showers twice. They were small, but clean. The bathhouse is not air conditioned or heated so summer showers can be a bit hot and muggy and I imagine winter showers quite chilly. THE WIFI IS AWESOME! I could not believe such a small RV park had such great wifi. Thank you, Riddick family! The small town of Mansfield is just down the road. We enjoyed the local icecream shop as well as the pizza and pasta restaraunt. Overall, this is a great RV park. We will definitely stay again if we're ever in the area again.

B Berry Farms is a unique and beautiful campsite for the weary traveler. Actually, with everything…read morethat you can do here, this farm could easily become a destination in itself. Owners, Brandon and Teresa are dedicated to good customer service! Located a few miles off the beaten path, and over hills and charming country roads, is a hidden little gem: B Berry Farms. As you enter the driveway, you are welcomed by a seasonally "dressed" little, directional sign. But if that wasn't enough, if you give them a call first, Teresa will greet you at the front gate. On my arrival, both Brandon and Teresa welcomed me, and Brandon even helped me to back into my site, comically named, "RV There Yet"! The site was fairly level with both 30 amp and 110 available, a mini picnic table, a fire ring, a nearby water source, and even an outdoor toilet facility. Teresa signed me in and then went over a list of available products for the season. She also asked me if I wanted to buy some fresh baked banana bread? "Um... yes please!" I didn't realize how "fresh" the bread was until she told me that she baked it to order and would bring it down to my campsite when it was done. I mean, she had me at "fresh baked banana bread", but then hand delivered to my site? Wow! This was really amazing service. The farm has tons to do: kid's zip line, walking trails, adult size swings, and pick your own produce. There are RV sites, tent sites (some with power), and even a cabin. They also make their own personal care products and use some of their own natural ingredients. You can even order their products online and have them delivered around the country! AMAZING! Another couple and my husband and I stayed in cabins number 5 and 6, Little Log and Big Log for a…read moreweekend in June. The cabins seem to be well built and the views are great -- right on the river, with a back deck so you can sit and watch the floaters go by. There's great river access so you can hang out on the gravel bar and swim all day or have a fire pit at night. That is about all the nice things we have to say about this place. When I booked 6 months in advance I was told there would not be a confirmation email. Upon arrival, we learned they do not provide towels in the cabins and that information "should have been in our confirmation email" (!) which of course we did not receive. (They did, however, provide us "emergency" towels once we asked.) They also did not provide hand soap, shower soap, or shampoo. Our cabin was clean inside, except for an invasion of ants. Our friends' cabin did not seem to be cleaned whatsoever prior to arrival. There was dirt in the kitchen drawers, and the toilet was filthy. There was no light bulb in the lamp, ceiling fan didn't work at all (we told them and they did not fix it). One of the Adirondack chairs on the deck was missing a leg; luckily I noticed it before I sat in it because it was propped up on the wall like the chair was fine but it definitely was not. There was some kind of slab of meat that someone had thrown on the ground outside the cabin covered in bugs. There was also a package of rotten meat sticks in the fire pit from the previous guests. It's a shame the owners of this place seem to only do the bare minimum and still charge over $200 a night for a cabin. It's a great property and has a lot of potential, but the owners really just don't seem to care.

The only reason it…read moredidn't earn a full five stars is that the sites are a touch close to each other and the bathrooms are not the best (but the showers are free, the water was hot and hey - having a bathroom in the woods when camping is pretty great). We tent camped at an electric site right on the river. It was beautiful, our neighbors were quiet and respectful and there were no loud parties or crazy music late at night. Having electricity in our tent was quite nice. The employees were super friendly and I saw a worker kindly ask a visitor to keep their speed down.

Campsites for the campers are kind of close together, but the tent lots had tons of room! The entire campground is shaded nicely with beautiful trees. It is clean and well maintained as well. The cabins are decent- clean, and stocked with everything you need. Nothing fancy, but the linens were all clean and the water was hot so no complaints here in that aspect. I didn't deal with the front office as my mother in law booked our stay and did all of that. My only complaint would be the other campers/cabin renters. Our cabin was a duplex and our neighbors were not considerate of how much noise they made. Cabins and camper spots are dog friendly, however it's basic knowledge that your dog must be leashed. Our neighbors did not leash their small poodle, and it rushed my two dogs, one of which was blind, several times. We informed them that because one of our dogs is blind, even though he is a nice dog, he could snap at something coming up on him suddenly. This did not deter them from allowing their dog to continue unleashed. I should have said something to the front office but didn't want to cause any trouble. All in all, a good stay, and not the campgrounds fault about obnoxious neighbors.
