The aides and nursing management were so professional, handling my mother-in-laws personal needs with dignity. Before she became ill, she liked the CM activities and trips out in a van arranged by independent living. She enjoyed religious services and her table-mates and the food. True compassion was shown by the staff who made personal visits to our family upon her passing.

I took a day off from work to spend time with my dad and take him out for the day. My father is…read moreperfectly mobile and competent and wanted very much to get out and enjoy the beautiful day with myself and his granddaughter. The administrator and another staff member caused a scene in front of other residents threatening to call the police and have me arrested for kidnapping. It was absolutely appalling. When I asked to see the documents that gave her the right to basically hold my father hostage, she told me I was not allowed to see them. They won't even show those documents to my father. After confirming with the police that I was doing nothing wrong we started to walk to my vehicle at which time they were screaming at us across the parking lot saying they were going to have me prosecuted. Minutes later I received a call from the police who advised me that they had in fact called them to report that I "kidnapped" my own father. The officer told me that they would not be getting involved and thought how ridiculous it was that they had even called them for that. The utter lack of professionalism of those staff members was and is still shocking. Based on my conversation with the Office of the Aging, there are a ton of red flags here such as their refusal to show me or my father any documents, refusing to show my father his list of medications and obviously calling the police in an attempt to have my arrested for kidnapping my father when I just wanted to take him for the day. When I asked who Rachel's supervisor was, I was told there is nobody above her. If Rachel is at the top of this chain, there's a bigger problem. If Rachel does, in fact have a superior, I would ask that they contact me to discuss this. On a separate note, the first time I went to visit my father on a Saturday, an elderly gentleman with a walker was walking around the parking lot completely unsupervised. There was also not a member of staff in site watching the door to ensure guests were signing in/out and clearly nobody was monitoring resident activity. Please take note that if my father's requests and wishes continue to be ignored and if myself or any other family member are treated in the manner I was yesterday, we will be taking legal action against your facility.

The laundry was done daily, and the trash was removed multiple times a day. There were no offensive odors, and most residence mingled among others. They cared for our Aunt in the last 9 months of her life, and we slept easy knowing she was in their care. The staff knew us by name, and reported even the littlest issues immediately. The best thing about Liza's was that when our Aunt was switched to hospice, they continued to care for her. Even when she became more work. This group goes above and beyond, and truly cares for the elderly. This is the old fashioned attitude to caring, and I appreciated it.

He went for a month to SHSL for respite care and they were so welcoming and friendly even though he was short term care. He was welcomed back for the next 2 years with the staff remembering him. This indicates to me that SHSL is able to keep employees for long periods of employment which is a credit to them in this ever-changing service oriented business. Due to my dad's advancing age (98), it was decided in July 2018 for him to stay at SHSL as his residence which was for the next 15 months. He made new friends and never once complained about the staff. The administration is very responsive and cares about their residents. The hospice services SHSL recommended were also wonderful. I have had prior assisted living experience for my parents at a larger corporate facility in the LV which I had numerous problems with to the point where I removed my mother from the dementia unit. SHSL wins hands down in my book. They are top notch in providing seniors with a safe, friendly and welcoming place to call home. Families will see very quickly that their loved ones are well attended to should they make SHSL home for someone in their family.

There is the main Lounge with leather sofas, gas fireplace a lovely fish tank and piano. There's a library with an internet computer, a gathering room for crafts, games, community mtgs, etc. A private dining room for special occasions and the main dining room with different table arrangements and fabulous food! There are 3 floors, one of the top two has a billiard room, sofas and chairs, game tables and a TV. The other has the laundry room, leather sectional, chairs and TV. All floors have gathering groupings along the spacious hallway. There are numerous room configurations as studios and also 1 or 2 bedrooms. Some have kitchenettes but no cooking is allowed. Any can have a mini fridge. They can supply all furniture at no extra cost, bring your own or mix it up. They supply linens and basic housekeeping. I like their tiered pricing, allowing for three levels of care and assistance so you pay only for what you need. There are available religious services, many arts and crafts, weekly shopping trips or restaurant trips. The staff is amazing, from the admins, med techs, medical staff, dining staff, just everyone. My Mom LOVES it there, especially the rear patio with canopies, expensive and comfy furniture and a view of the pond with fountains, beautiful potted and planted flowers/bushes and resident geese, chipmunks, birds, etc. Finally, I love that it is a progressive care facility from minimum care up to full time, locked dementia care! I looked at many places, this is by far superior in my opinion.

They are encouraged to take meals together. The staff is kind to the repeated requests and questions posed by the residents. This is a small home, about 45 residents, but the care given is excellent. The staff knows each resident and each resident's visitors. My mother-in-law was a resident at Mosser Nursing Home until her recent death. Throughout her entire 2+ year stay, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our questions were answered and inquiries about things attended to quickly. Any time there was a change in MIL's condition, we got a phone call. During her last days, many of the staff came in to say goodbye (even though she wasn't fully conscious) and to tell her they loved her. Also during this time, our family stayed around the clock with her and we were pleased to see the care given to all the residents even in the wee hours. During a hospital stay, the medical staff commented frequently at the absence of bed sores; we know this is due to the great care my mother-in-law got at Mosser. As a family, we are glad we found Mosser.

My father had his leg amputated and we were in a scurry to find a rehabilitation facility that…read morewould accept him and would not cause additional problems. After touring numerous facilities we begged for admittance at country meadows. The biggest plus there is that they are well staffed and my dad would have the proper care that was necessary, the patient to staff ratio was one of the highest I saw and this makes a big difference in the care you would receive. (previously, prior to the amputation he was at New Eastwood in Easton where he'd press a call button and over an hour and a half later would soil himself because nobody responded, so staffing number's definitely count)..... Throughout the whole stay at Country Meadows the staff all cared for my father very well, he liked some of the food and some he did not. Although he got a bed ulcer, he previously had the start of it at the hospital so CM was definitely not to blame. Their showers are clean and easy accessible and they have the staff to bathe residents twice a week. They even have a salon to get your hair washed in the interim. Everyone there was accommodating to his needs and would recommend them to anyone looking for short term rehabilitation or even long term care. I felt that my dad was safe there every time I left from a visit.
