But, as with all these random little pc repair shops, they also offer random services, one of which is a cash for gold scheme whereby they will buy old and new jewellery by offering prices by the gram of gold. They also buy all second hand mobile phones. The service is friendly, although we went in to price up a dongle so that we could access the internet in our flat and the guy behind the counter seemed very irate and unapproachable, needless to say, we bought one elsewhere!

On the whole despite being boring this place was actually a good find as they provide a high quality of service at more than reasonable prices. The staff here were knowledgeable as well as being friendly and this really left me feeling as though I was a valued customer and that they genuinely cared about my consumer needs. The store is small but well organised and you can tell as soon as you enter that this place is going to be well run and such is the case.

I was looking for a sim free expensive mobile ( wont mention any brands, but its brand new and expensive haha ) she told me that they dont do sim free mobile sales in there, just contract deals, which is fair enough. she was still very helpful in telling me all the deals they had if I did decide to go for a t mobile contract for the mobile. Gave me her name, wrote the store number down and said to ring if I needed any more help. The other staff member was a friendly man, but though it sounds silly, he had his jeans under his buttocks, like rappers have their pants down a bit so you can see the name on their jockey shorts? But his jeans were actually under his bum cheeks so all his jockeys showed, I thought it was a joke at first to see if people reacted, it was like candid camera.. I expected the ghost of beadle to jump out and say 'gotcha' ;-) Still I wasnt offended and I was happy with the help I got :-) I'm going to give this shop 3 stars because of the lack of sim only mobiles to be bought in store and because it feels quite blank and bare in the store.. you dont feel like you can just stroll around looking which I find in most mobile stores though.

Want better service than Vodafone? Buy two empty cans and a long string. UPDATE: Tried using the chat from Vodafone and calling and they were useless. Told me I had to go back to the store. Still trash service. However, increased the score. Went back the next day and the same guy helped us. He was very apologetic for the previous day and went out of his way to help us out. Still think Vodafone is worthless but this guy who helped us was phenomenal and basically saved the company in my eyes.

Like most chain stores i would not resommend going into this shop at the weekend as usually it is mostly filled by people eyeing up the latest handsets that are available (another good thing about Orange). To be honest i mostly use this store for minor quieries like handset problems or more top up credit. Recently i got my contract phone renewed and after talking to the guy after five mins he did confess that checking their website might be a better plan for me as they have more deals on there and this was ona quiet day, just shows it isnt always about commision just customer service at times

This store is exactly what you would expect then as a pleasant and relaxing environment in which to shop. The whole store feels chic and relaxed and you are given the space and freedom to peruse the products without being hassled. The staff are there when you need them and very helpful at that. Situated on the main High street opposite the entrance to the White Rose Shopping Precint. It is of a good size and everything is displayed well with the games in the various sections for the different consoles. There is also a section for the latest offers/deals and they also have a section for used games which are a slightly lower price. They also offer you the opportunity to trade in unwanted games for cash or trade in value if you are planning on getting a new game. You also have the option of a reward card which allows you to build up your points with each buy. The staff have always been very helpful to me, for example informing me that one game was not suitable for my son because of the language it contains which resulted in them losing a sale.

I usually feel more comfortable shopping for electronic items in places like Curry's than I do in shops I've never heard of. Maybe that's because it's easier to beat the stuffing out of a big corporate company than a small one if something should go wrong? This shop is all right, and they do seem to stock a fair variety of items. They even had a big flat screen TV so they must not be entirely behind the times.
