We are getting married in less than a month, and he has a shaved patch along the top of his head while the other side of the top and sides were left long. The back wasn't shaped whatsoever. I don't understand how an experienced barber could mess up a haircut so badly. It looks like he slipped with the razor. I would never trust anyone here to cut hair ever again!!!!! Without asking for details, he just lopped off my sideburns and didn't check to see if they were symmetrical (they weren't). He cut my bangs too short even though I told him the desired length. Then he asked if he didn't cut off enough! He didn't check for straightness, and I had to show him that it wasn't even close. After that, NO I won't let you use a straight razor on me!!! The regular haircut was done in ~7 minutes, and I go to the register to find it's $20. Why is it so hard to find even a competent barber?

I told them 20 mins and they said to come. I got there 20 minutes later, walk in to see a bunch of miserable looking people waiting. Nobody greets me so I just sit down. One of the 3 working barbers asks me what I'm doing from about 25 feet away. Told him I was there for a haircut. He then tells me they're closed. I explain that I had called in and was told to come. Mind you, all of this is done having to yell to one another from 25 feet away with a bunch of people overhearing. He then talks to another barber in Spanish for about 30 seconds for what seems like a disagreement and nobody says another word to me. I waited in there for another minute or so and then just walked out. If you're ever looking for a barbershop in the area to make you feel welcome, this is not your place. Unless you're a local or a regular, they will be sure to make you feel out of place. I found another place nearby called Omar's through a Google search and that experience could not have been any more different. Omar was incredibly hospitable and made me feel at home and that he appreciated my business. He gave a great haircut in a comfortable environment. 2 other people walked in during my haircut and they were both greeted heartily by Omar.

3 stars. could be meh, could be good…read more so, yea, it was free, lets start there. i got the val pack and for the third month in a row there she was, freebie! now, if you are an avid jerkstore reader you know my hair is samsonesque. i take it very seriously, but i was thinking of just a small trim and i didnt want to drop 40 bucks for a normal cut, so i said what the hair and lets do this. first i showed up opening on saturday, but some other dudes thought that was also a good time to get it done, so i waited for about 20 minutes, but by then, i had to attend to other obligations, so i left, no worries, no worries except this is the worst parking lot i have even been in !!!!! (ok total exaggeration, i cant even think of the the "worst" likely one with potholes and rabid dogs and shopping carts would qualify, but this one was pretty weak) its next door to dunkies and you know how much new englanders need their gross coffee....anyway, nightmare material trying to get out/in when there is only one lane and thats also the drive thru lane (lots in the back so you gotta wait with the caffeine freaks). i came back the next day, sunday, yet again faced with a horrific parking lot, but no worries. I waited to pull into a spot and then got in there and still waited about 15 more minutes for my cut. I could see that the free cut coupon was a popular choice as everyone had one (like opinions and a-holes!) Mallory was my person, she did an average job, nothing terrible, but then again, I asked for only scissors and only an inch off. next to me was a little kid getting a mohawk and having it dyed purple, i see this as the target demographic for this place. see, for 25 bucks for a mvp cut (cut plus shampoo [which should happen anyway!] 75 second machine operated massage and hot towel) i see it as a bit more pricey then super cuts (i would NEVER go to a super cut) and yet not too much more then what i would usually get. anyway, a few days later, its only meh, i mean, it could have been reeeeeaaaaallllll bad, fortunately its hair and will grow back and when it does, it will be time for my quarterly cut. sorry sportclips, i wont be back
