Dr. Kitty has been my chiropractor for about a year now. My experience with her has been outstanding. Never have I had a chiropractor spend so much time with me. She always first loosens up my muscles by hand which feels like a massage to me! Her adjustments are gentle and thorough. Her office staff is very friendly and always greets you by name as you enter. Only one time in a year did I have to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. 5he office area is comfortable and always something fun going on for the holidays( raffles or guess how many things in jar, etc) Adjustment rooms themselves always very clean looking. Just an amazing place. I was referred here by another therapist due to a first time unforeseen injury related to nerve damage (radial, median, Ulnar). This injury destroyed by physical transformation that took me 6 months to get, but I felt their was hope after meeting Dr. Timothy Yon. First day which was suppose to be just for x-rays, consultant, treatment plan, I requested if he could take some extra time to adjust me and assist to relieve my pain that was killing me for weeks. He didn't hesitate. My sessions have required extra time and he has been patience with looking into all avenues to get me better. This includes a head to toe assessment and X-rays, if needed. Dr Kitty takes her time to get to know you and hit the pain right on the head with a plan of action and a treatment plan. Her best tools are her hands (of an angel) that work their magic through your aching and painful sites, then the adjustment comes. Don't get scared, your bones will crack! It hurts sooooo good. One of the best and most effective treatments I've ever had for my stress headaches and lower back pain. Yes, I sound like a fan, but that's for a good reason! Office was tidy and staff was polite. I was put off that the very first thing to do when placed in the room was to watch a 6 minute video about chiropractic and how legitimate it is and how it will keep you from getting sick in the future (not sure about that one, but staff all wore masks which is appreciated). I went in for a pinched nerve in my neck and hesitated when a 6 week plan of very frequent visits was proposed. Then came a hard sell from reception and the doctor herself. If chiropractic is your thing, I'm sure this is a good place to go. I have been hurting for a very long time and i finally decided to go to this place because it is right by my house and work... They are slowly "fixing" me and i am feeling better every day that goes by. I can now bend and tie my shoe and I haven't been able to that for the last couple of years. Ambiance is nice, lavender colors and aromatherapy was nice, the maroon wrap around lounger is a little retro... but cute. Rooms are reasonable, décor is modern. The Drs are thorough, the diagnostic was the most comprehensive I have had from any chiropractor - and I have had over 9-10 over the years. Appreciate places that invest in cutting edge equipment. I injured my lower back while exercising and kept going back and forth between healthy and hurt. I re-injured myself a couple of months ago and got to the point where I couldn't perform routine tasks let alone exercise. After going to an orthopedic surgeon at Rush, I was told that I was structurally fine and given a prescription for physical therapy. I had done PT a year or so ago with little result so after seeing reviews on Yelp I decided to give Chiropractic a try. It seems as though many people are skeptics when it comes to chiropractic care. All I can say is that after 1 session I was feeling a lot better (ie pressure was relieved but still had soreness/achiness), after 2 sessions I was moving and acting pretty much normally at home (ie could take out garbage, etc), after a week I was back to cautious exercise and now 3 weeks later am crossfitting 4 times a week. I really couldn't have asked for anything more. There's no magic to it. I had some screwed up bones, muscles and ligaments and Dr. Tim helped me get them all squared.
