Also to my surprise was that it did not have any pizza sauce - just cheese and spicy salami. I handed over a £5 note and found an empty picnic table and took a bit. It was delicious but I should warn that the spicy salami was incredibly spicy. I was not expecting the level of spice that imploded in my mouth. I've never consumed such spicy salami in my life and consequently had heartburn for the next 24 hours. The cheese was tasty and gooey and, when melted, acted like a sauce, making the "Italian quesadilla" super juicy which made me happy because I was highly concerned that due to the lack of sauce, it was going to be like eating cardboard.
