We have had a great experience with childrens depot. My kiddo enjoys going and loves all the fun stuff they do. During the summer is his favorite. They did something special nearly everyday. Whenever I was looking for a daycare for my son, this was the only 3-star (highest) DHS rated daycare in Owasso. Now, I can understand why. The Children's Depot is a very clean facility - I am amazed at how often I see the teachers cleaning surfaces, floors and toys. My son has learned so much, too! For a while, he was signing things to my husband and me, and we were having to Google what my son was saying to us. Several times, I have decided that I wanted to teach him something, only to find out that he already knew the concept (left vs right, counting 1-10, ABCs). Also, I have noticed that several daycares in the area require parents to bring 3-4 prefilled bottles for infants on a daily basis, which can end up being a lot of work for new parents. At Children's Depot, we were allowed to keep 3-4 bottles and formula/breast milk in the classroom. This was a HUGE help for my husband and me. Before we started at The Children's Depot, we were spending a minimum of 30 minutes each might washing bottles. Overall, this daycare has been a big blessing for my family. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. The directors at this school are unprofessional and have no compassion towards other kids. The majority of the staff are all young girls who do not take their job seriously. Almost every time I picked my infant up from there she would be sitting in a dried poop diaper or a soaking wet pee diaper. We had been battling a severe diaper rash to the point my infant was bleeding and so raw down there from lack of being changed. They were not washing her bottles and I know because I asked for one to come home when I picked her up because we were going to dinner and the bottle they made for me (I watched them prepare) had MOLD all in the lid and nipple. The bottle itself had a greasy film all inside of it. My daughter kept getting repeated ear infections to the point they were back to back and I scheduled her for tubes. I asked the daycare if they were propping her bottle, they said no of course but after that she hasn't had another one. I did not get her tubes done because I knew it was inflicted ear infections. Every time I would drop her off the other kids already there would be covered in mucus, they never cleaned their faces off. When I would pick her up she would as well would be covered in snot, food, and dried milk. It would be all in her hair, eyebrows, nose, cheeks, etc. I also feel she was bumped to the next class up too quick in order to make room for new kids. She was moved to the "Little Travelers" class before she could even hold herself up on her arms let alone crawl. The other kids in there were already crawling and walking. They tried moving her to sleeping on a cot which I said no to and even had to contact DHS licensing because Erin (one of the directors) argued with me. My infant has been sick at least 3 times; she got a stomach bug, hand foot and mouth, and some other little bug. They do not sanitize often or at all. I have never seen them clean or take toys that children have put in their mouth. They also were feeding ALL the babies (covered in snot and all) out of the same little yogurt cup. I said something about it and all they said was "its not a common practice, we will use this as a training tool", along with my moldy bottle situation. I have been singled out since day one, which is fine but the lack of quality of care for my infant will not be tolerated. There has been plenty of passive aggressive moments interacting with Erin and even Nate at times. I requested a sit down with the directors to discuss all of these things and what was going to happen to fix it, they called me 3 days later, kicking my daughter out. Erin has always been quick to say something slick or passive back to me vs acknowledging my concerns and issues and handling them like her job is to do so. She has absolutely zero compassion for other peoples children or she singled my daughter out for lack of liking me. Either way, a childcare facility should not be ran by a person who does not have a childs best interest at heart. Mind you, all of this is happening during COVID-19. We the parents were not allowed in the classrooms to drop off or pick up the kids but cleaning/sanitizing wasn't a priority and swapping saliva/nasal discharge was happening daily. read more

A minimum of once a month my wife and I find ourselves talking about how wonderful the Children's Depot is and how blessed we are to have them watching and teaching our child. Our child is excited to be there every morning and he is coming home everyday having learned something new. read more

We cannot rave enough about The Children's Depot. Our son has been there for two years. We greatly appreciate how they've poured into him and loved him like their own. He is constantly learning new things and has made so many sweet friends in his class. The teachers and staff are always so friendly!! We love The Depot! read more

The Children's Depot, Owasso: My child attended The Childrens Depot, Owasso beginning age 3. Starting off with a tour of the campus...Erin & Nate (manager & co-manager: Nate "principle")...With this beautiful close knit family business, child therapy trained Doodle dog with matching pink ears to top it off and an on-site certified child development teacher we thought this place of top notch. Let me tell you the façade this place puts on to be a "development center" is GOLDEN! After a short period of time with further evaluation our child was diagnosed with sensory issues that required an IEP due to premature birth. This facility claims to be a "Child Development Center"...COMPLETELY FALSE! 2 months after my child was diagnosed they dismissed him from the facility, with 2 weeks to find another facility. Claiming verbatim: "Your child isn't progressing fast enough for us." After doing all that was asked of us (to not get on the bumped list)...getting a weekly personalized therapist for my child, providing them with many resources handouts etc, feedback, diagnosis, development plans, therapist direct contact...they in turn, literally kicked out my 4 year old of their facility. If they put out into the world to be a Christian preschool "development" center they are giving false advertisement. This is an amazing facility/program for the perfect child that fits into the perfectly molded box. But if your child in any way needs extra help/guidance this is not the place for you or 100% your child. If your child resembles this description in any way shape for form please do not send them there. Disability The IEP only addresses those educational needs resulting from your child's disability. If your child needs special education support throughout the school day, for all activities, the IEP will cover all these needs. read more

My little boy has some pretty amazing teachers at the Children's Depot. He talks about them nonstop when he is not there.

I have been taking my grandson here for years, he really loves the school, they are very nice and well organized!! It makes me feel good to drop him off there knowing he is in good hands!!! I highly recommend the school for any age child!! read more
