Had gotten a pretty expensive speeding ticket for going 100 mph in a 70 mph zone, driving back to Las Vegas from California. Procrastinated until the last month to take care of it, and decided to reach out to a couple of lawyers to try and fight it for me. I contacted three law firms, but out of all the firms I called, The Chong Firm was the only place that picked up the phone by the person who is actually going to represent YOU, Jason Chong. To me, right away this made me feel comfortable handing over my traffic ticket to him, because with the other firms I didn't speak to the lawyer unless I committed to them. Additionally, when Jason and I spoke for the first time when I was inquiring about an estimate on handling my case, I didn't feel clueless or unsure of anything after we hung up. He broke everything down for me, he told me what my options were, even repeated some things twice without sounding rude or unkind, and for someone like me who has only dealt with a speeding ticket once before, and paying for it, being able to fully understand what my options were, the steps taken when fighting a speeding ticket, and the potential outcomes was great! The other firms told me my options as well, but they were talking to me as if I knew what they were talking about, I guess you can say Jason "dumbed" it down for me so I could understand, but for people who haven't gone through this experience before, it's reasonable. The only thing I could recommend Jason to do better on for future reference is following up with his clients. I had reached out to Jason the day before my ticket was due for payment, to confirm that he did everything on my behalf to set a court date because I had not heard from him since I sent him the payment to take on the case. Another was the day before the court trial, I had messaged him to confirm he was going to be at court, and he told me he was going to be there. It's not much of a big deal, but it would be nice to know so there isn't any worry. Besides that, everything went smoothly and well for me, especially because my ticket got dismissed! However, even if I had not beaten my case, I would say Jason Chong is the best lawyer for the job, his pricing doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and he truly looks out for his clients.
