When I first hired them, my team was okay. They missed a few areas but with communication with the office, it was remedied. As time went by, I didn't know who would show up and the cleaning was inconsistent at best. I communicated with the office, sent photos of uncleaned areas, video from security cameras of unacceptable behavior etc. Each time I was told "we'll talk to our teams". The final straw was bleach stained clothing and a "flooded" gas stove that I had to let dry before I could cook and overwhelming smell of bleach in my home when I don't use "chemicals" of any kind. Again I sent pictures and was told "our teams aren't supposed to bring bleach into the homes and we'll talk to them". It seems the talking/training should happen BEFORE these issues arise. read more

I have used this company for the last six months. I decided to use them because they gave what I thought was a fair price for cleaning our just under 2,000 sq ft upper level. The cleaners turned out to be very young, looking like they just graduated from high school. Once when I was concerned about the poor cleaning of our toilet, I asked what they used to clean the toilets and the young gal didn't even know. It became obvious that the crew was only following a process rather than seeing what needed to be cleaned. When I sought help, a supervisor did come and agreed with my assessment. She promised to send a more experienced and thorough crew. That lasted about two weeks. A real problem is their "rotation system" which is in conflict with the customer's need. Though our family room TV console was dusted, floor mopped and carpet was vacuumed, I was told that the couch which we use every day, could only be vacuumed every two months. We were on a twice a month cleaning and with four rotation "deep cleans," the pillows were placed in a decorative manner on the dirty couch, even though the TV console is next to the couch and the carpet is in front. On our last cleaning I told the crew that the hall bedroom and den did not require cleaning (with the hope that would free time for a more thorough cleaning). But, it didn't. When I provided pictures where no cleaning took place, I did receive an apology, but was also told that if I wanted the couch cleaned, a two-minute task, I would be charged extra. It was at that point my opinion was solidified..this company does not care about the needs of their customers, their cleaners are not thorough, and the company wants to "up charge" wherever they can. I reached out to them because of a referral from someone who used them several years ago. I requested a deep cleaning with very specific areas I wished to be focused on. These areas were not done to my satisfaction or expectation of what 'deep Cleaning' means. I even had to ask them to vacuum under the sofa cushions which had not been done. The kitchen was the most disappointing. The floor was good but they did not wipe down the cover on the microwave or even cleaned the dishwashing bottle sitting on the sink. It was still sticky all over. Not a big deal, but when I am paying money for a deep clean I expect those things to be done! They also said they were unable to get the inside of the oven cleaned and when I pointed that out, they suggested I could get a razor blade to scrape it clean. I expect a cleaning company that I am paying almost a $1K. to know how to clean the inside of an oven and have the necessary products or tools to do so. However, I will say that the workers were very polite and friendly. read more

Recently, they came to our home to touch up a couple of things we thought were inadvertently missed on their last visit. Lacie and Savannah arrived on time, worked very hard and not only addressed the things that were missed but went above and beyond what we requested. I hired The Cleaning Authority to clean the downstairs of my house for me (vinyl flooring and the kitchen). This is the first time I've ever used a cleaning service but with COVID I've been busy and have been wanting to support the business in the community. I found this company from a flyer they mailed out. First the positive: The staff is friendly and easy to work with. I had to reschedule and there was no problem doing that. The team that came to do the cleaning work (2 people) were very friendly and personable. Also what they cleaned they did a very nice job and there was attention to detail. Second the not so positive: I really only had one issue with this whole process. The Cleaning AUthority requires a 2 hour minimum which that I understand. It has to be worth the time for them to do the work. The problem was that they weren't here for the 2 hours. There were some "if there were time" additional things to do and instead of doing that they just left about an hour and twenty minutes into the time. I was still charged for the full 2 hours plus a $16 fee which was never discussed and I still don't know what it was for. They required a $50 deposit and then charged an additional $66 to the card but the original amount was $100. I think I would use the service again but make sure I don't get shorted for the time. Also I would advise that they tell you about all costs up front and then include a list of what you are charged for on the bill. read more

We've been using this company for maybe five years. We jokingly refer to them as the 'pet hair removal service' but of course they do much more than that. Clean House Day is my favorite day every 2 weeks - where someone else cleans better than I would and my house sparkles. Love the option of having a bi-weekly, rotational clean. This option is easier on the budget and also less extreme than having to choose between once a week or once a month. (The rotation means they do a deeper clean on certain areas of the house each visit, rotating through until everything has been deep cleaned by every third visit.) We hired this company based on the thoroughness advertised and promised. They came for the initial visit with 3 people and we were very excited for our deep clean. They were here for 5 hours and apparently a QA person came to check their work. (We we're not home when they left). They did surface clean and vacuum most things well and got the ceiling fans, however there were clearly glaring omissions such as not wiping down the fridge, microwave (both were still covered with handprints). The blinds were left dusty and the showers were not throughly cleaned, door knobs and light switch covers still dirty. Maybe this sounds picky, right? Not after the $600 bill. I would expect for that price, the time 3 people and a QA person were here that nothing would have been missed, especially such obvious things- might be minor, but in our opinion it was absolutely not worth the price. We let management know and they gave us $100 refund, which was appreciated. However, that does not earn our return business. We will not use them again. read more

Early on we had quite a bit of variability in the team that came, so I talked with the people in the office about my concerns. Since then, Olivia and Nat have been coming consistently, and we have been very pleased with the cleaning job done in our home. The team of Olivia and Nat regularly go above and beyond to ensure our home is clean from top to bottom, and are careful with the finishes in our home. The individuals who came to our home were always polite. However, it's extortionately expensive- 142.00 every 2 weeks for just over 1 hour of work. Additionally, we were charged extra for gas because we live rurally, and on one occasion when I postponed, I was told there would be an extra fee next time because the house would not have been cleaned for that extended period. This is a service for which we PAY, it is not a favor being done for us. Ultimately, I'd rather clean my own home (which I do anyway BTW). read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The first time they clean they charge you more for a "deep cleaning". They didn't get cobwebs or dust the tv or wipe down the coffee table. I called and complained so they next time they sent out a supervisor to inspect. The problem was the inspection occurred before they were done cleaning and again they forgot to rid an entire room of cobwebs. The third time they cleaned the missed entire sections of the kitchen even though the "detailing" was supposed to be in there and again missed cobwebs and ceiling fans! Third strike. Waste of your money unless you're standing next to them telling them what to do. The ladies are friendly and that's about the only thing giving them 1 star. read more
