I often come into this location and prefer it over all of the others like it in the area. The products are top quality and so is the service. All of the staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. In addition to amazing quality in both product and service, they also have the best prices and deals. There is a wide variety of items to meet one's needs and staff is more than willing to ensure that you are happy with what you are getting and that it is the best product for your specific needs. read more

This is hands down the absolute best vape shop in VA! I have been coming here for over 3 years. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. No matter how busy they are or how many questions you have, they are always extremely helpful! I moved 90 minutes away and I still come here for my juice, coils and everything else I need. They have great prices and a large selection of products. I always find what I need when I come here. The owner is very knowledgeable and thanks to his help, I quit smoking cigarettes after 20+ years. I always feel like family when I'm here. I highly recommend them! read more

The best vapes and juice in Petersburg. I called on the phone and just had to visit after speaking with Sam,no doubt I bought a new vape that day "SMOK Alien" customer service and knowledge was outstanding.I Love my new Alien,if u considered vaping please go see Sam he offered a wide variety of items over 100 flavors and much much more in stock for many kinds of tobacco use .Great place,great supply ,great service and great prices. And last but not least Sam gave me a great deal that day lets just say the more I purchased the more I saved ,he continued to keep the experience nothing less than GREAT...I will,definitely go back and refer everyone I know!!! read more

We offer warrantied vaporizer devices, an impressive array of e-liquid covering as much of the palette as possible, and below market pricing on coils and necessities. We also stock a large volume of quality borosilicate water pipes, hand pipes, tobacco vaporizers and hand picked accessories for glass and smoking. We have a 100% emphasis on customer service; communication, honesty and focus on the needs of every client. We consider every client part of our family, and we won't sell anything we wouldn't sell to our family and friends.

History

Established in 2016.

The Cloud Factory opened in 2016 as a new project for a manager of a multiple store chain. His experience in wholesale glass markets gave him insight into what successful shops did all over the country and built a small store according to his principles. He has expanded what was successful and worked to build up the relationships needed to be a successful shop. In 2018 The Cloud Factory moved to a larger location across from the original location to further improve the experience. None of this would have been possible without the help and support of the local community and the many friends the shop has made over the last 2 years.

Meet the Business Owner: Samuel P.

Samuel Pugh has worked in the vape/smoke shop industry for 12 years. His field was scientific glass, rising to lead sales and logistics for SYN Glass for 2 years and generating millions in revenue for local glassblowers. He shifted to retail customer service and rose to become GM for a 8 shop chain of vape/smoke shops. His strength was earnest customer service and technical education. He has now has a lovely young family and puts his love for his family behind every sale at the Cloud Factory.

I Came looking for rolling papers for my British colleague who still rolls his cigs with high quality tobacco- does it in less than a minute. Damnit So was just going to buy either 1.5 or smaller standard but there was hemp, cones, 20 cigars ,Phillies, swisher sweets, any blunt wraps you want. Really do have soooo many choices. A lot of vapes, coils, juices , mods. Prices were a bit higher than in GA but Savannah cut me a break and really knew her products. And as I picked things, she made sure I got the best pairings to keep cost down. Picked up a small Vape with -0- Nic juice to mix with CBD I use for stress and arthritis. I get my cbd somewhere else, but they had many. Just having her baby sit me, help me around the entire counter helps. I picked out quite a few fun things too- cheap!! They had a lot of the really new "vintage " ashtrays - heavy glass with Bob Marley or just a 5 leaf stem. Glass pipes, even cold cokes and snacks. Just a fun place to go. After I checked out, I found another isle ,went back and browsed , and bought 1 more thing!! She laughed at me . Great place. Should have all you need . Highly recommend .

Went to the Colonial Heights store and although they had great service in the past some girl with nothing but attitude waited on me and was nasty, mean and disrespectful. I've been treated better getting a speeding ticket than how this young, personality disordered girl treated me just last week. Enough, my regular business goes elsewhere now. This shop actually has a bank of humidors full of everything from your two-dollar 2nds to Cohiba and Macanudo. I picked up a couple of Diesel cigars that I can't find anywhere else around, so that's a big bonus in their favor. The folks that work there seem to be more of the cigarette/vape kind of people, but the lady who was there when I walked in knew enough about cigars to sell them to folks like me. Tickets were $8 a person and can't be purchased online from my knowledge. We got skewers, milkshake, pork belly skewers with pancit and lumpia, mango sticky rice, spicy mayo karaage, and takoyaki. We got the spicy skewers which really packed a punch of heat, a little bit too much for our personal comfort. My favorite was the shrimp because it was so snappy. The beef and lamb was tender but did not blow us out of the water. The pork belly had a nice snap from the collagen and fatty parts. The Ferrero Rocher milkshake was so delectable. The service was quick, consistency was not too liquid and not too firm that we couldn't drink it with a straw. Overall a solid milkshake. The sticky mango rice had perfectly ripe mangos but the sticky rice wasn't that fragrant, super creamy though. The original takoyaki were on the larger side but most of the takoyaki was just batter/ not much filling and seafood inside. Though we got it when all the booths were about to close so for $5 for 6 pieces we couldn't really complain. The spicy mayo karaage was a little tough but some pieces were so well crisped and the slight kick from the spicy mayo helped counteract the heaviness of a fried food item. Loved the pork belly skewers from the Filipino food stand, it was very umami and marinated. the lumpia was also not too oily and so crispy. Though the pancit was kind of bland and seemed more to just act as a bedding for the other food items on top of it. They give you sweet and sour sauce as well a vinegar sauce which we ended up pouring onto the pancit for more flavor. The night market also had fair games. Most of them were $10 to play. Toilets were also relatively clean and felt comfortable enough to use for cleaning up after eating all the food.

My ancient vape tank broke and I called everywhere trying to find a replacement and had no luck. I panicked. I was sure I'd start smoking again. Normally I order my vape products online but I needed nicotine NOW! In desperation I ran into The Cloud Factory looking for something I could afford and with an awareness that I hate change (my vape was four years old). Sam, the owner, was very patient with my neuroses and took his time helping me pick out a MiPod and explained to me the difference and showed me how to fill it. He was very personable and the nic salts are perfect for me, an ex heavy smoker. I've had it for two months now and I have not had any cigarettes. I'd recommend The Cloud Factory and Sam to anyone who needs vaping advice and doesn't want to be ripped off. Fair warning, they do sell other products such as "water pipes" and legal herbal supplements in addition to vaping supplies. If those types of things bother you, you'd want to stay away. read more
