Zero product, zero responses. Looks like small claims is a waste of time too. This company needs to reevaluate its purpose.

I ordered a urn for my recent wife and these @$$ f**ks have ignored everything except my $280 payment. It was purchased back in early early July just before what would've been her birthday... I want my money back NOW. read more

The Coffin Company have caused both me and my client extreme amounts of stress, despite stating otherwise in a phone call they turned around and then refused to allow us to return a coffin. I would recommend avoiding doing business with them. Extremely disappointed with the disgraceful customer service. read more

My mother always wanted a simple funeral with no pomp and ceremony. When I suggested to her that I could arrange her funeral myself she was really pleased. The hospice said I could use their mortuary and I looked for coffins online. I am so grateful that I found The Coffin Company. Mark is lovely, easy to talk to and SO HELPFUL. He didn't think it strange that I wanted to 'do it myself' and explained clearly how to get the right size coffin. The coffin was beautiful- Autumn Gold Oval Willow, and inexpensive compared with even the cheapest coffin sold by funeral directors. Postage was an extra cost but was very efficient and worth it to see the delivery man's face (he joked saying, 'It looks like a coffin!' I said, 'It is!'). It was all such a good experience that when my auntie died I did the same, but this time using the mortuary services of a good, understanding funeral director. This time I ordered a traditional shaped Autumn Gold Willow coffin. Again EXCELLENT. This week another auntie died. She had been frugal all her life and her wishes were to have 'something very simple'. Persuaded by my cousins to 'keep things easy' for myself, I intended to use a funeral director this time. He collected my auntie's body from the care home and was really lovely but when I went to speak to him the next day I realised that I would much prefer to do it myself again. So I have just ordered my THIRD coffin from The Coffin Company!!!This time it is going to be cream wicker in the oval shape. I am looking forward to seeing it as photos on a website don't really do the coffins justice. It should look lovely with a big bouquet of garden flowers and greenery. read more

Shocking behaviour by The Coffin Company and its owner Mark Watson who ripped off a grieving daughter. She paid for a coffin, a cheaper coffin showed up. When a complaint made The Coffin Companies owner Mark Watson replied with "You cant prove it as she's been cremated". Luckily she took pictures so she can prove it. Then to shield himself Mark Watson of The Coffin Company calls the police and falsely claims threatening behaviour made towards him when nothing of the sought has been made. Absolutely disgusting behaviour by The Coffin Company in Northampton and its owner Mark Watson. For those wanting clarification of the company: The Coffin Company (NE) Ltd Orchard House Whalton Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 3UZ Telephone: 01670 775047 Mark Watson also has a company The Coffin Company Ltd which is currently showing as Maximum Risk on Experian. Avoid The Coffin Company and any business associated with Mark Watson at all costs. read more

I agree with the last reviewer - this company may be OK working with the trade but don't expect courteous behaviour or customer care as a grieving person. Mark is a very rude man who should not be running this kind of business. read more
