Love this place! 1 complaint thus far, I get Grey Goose and cran and I'm 100% sure she didn't relay that to the bartender. Not a big deal but their well vodka had my buzz stronger than Grey Goose.... felt it the next day. this actually happened 2 times, same waitress don't know her name or I'd call it out. I honestly haven't checked her about it so it may be an honest mistake, it does get busy in there. Drinks are moderately priced and they pour heavy,.... I'm a descent tipper and that might be part of it... Also the food.... I got the pulled pork sandwich and damn near lost my mind! It was so damn good it didn't make sense! The staff is extremely friendly always welcoming and accommodating. Now the girls, I'm going to say that 70% of them are sexy most of the time. All flavors! Never had a dancer not be 100% friendly to me and my girl. Not pushy, only a couple I've came across walk around with a bad vibe. Only been there once out of about 10 or 15 times that it wasn't mostly Sexy ones in there at any given time. Heard a lot of good things about this club, So I went on a milestone birthday. All night I had 2 dancers threatening to rob me in a "joking" manner. They were definitely serious, had I been dumb enough to give them the opportunity. Rest of the dancers were stand off ish and awkward. Left in under 1 hour; Wasn't worth the investment. read more

Went there on a Tuesday at 8 PM. Charged me $10 to get in. The place was dead. There were no girls on stage. Sat at the bar. The barmaid said there were 2 girls in the back getting ready to come out. Waited until my drink was done. Nobody came out and danced. A total rip off. When I left they wanted $9 for valet parking. I don't know how it could have been a worse experience than that.... This place is now just a skeleton of its former self. The nice setup is still there, but all the hot girls and the party atmosphere are gone... It's not their fault though. Blame it on the current Detroit mayor wanting to "clean up Detroit". No private curtains, all partitions are cut down to 3 or 4 ft, so you can see what's going on in the next booth. There's really no private dance anymore so the customers now go to clubs outside the city. Since dancers make most of their $ with private dances, they move to other clubs as well. read more

Soo my first visit with some pals of mine overall was decent but a few things to note my female friend walked in before me I had to pay 15$ for me and my other friend walked in with his girl he didn't have to pay also to get money out the atm it's a 20$ charge to withdraw the money then it's a 8$ valet fee I paid my money handed over my ticket they went and got my car I get in and one of the guys was holding my door telling me I need to pay I told him I paid already and he told me I didn't then when I stated my ticket number her realized I wasn't drunk and couldn't pull a fast one over on me and I left so just be careful don't pay until they bring your car other than the the music was great and the women are beautiful read more

used to be a regular here until this weekend. New management is very young and doesn't know how to run this place! My drinks took forever, the dancer who was supposed to be dancing was kissing the young man who manages this place now. Last time i checked she was there to dance- not to entertain their boss. As a customer the amount of grime i see in the mens bathroom, along with ladies not cleaning the poles with covid. I asked the Dj for change and one of the dancers, Alexis, took $40 of my $100 bill and gave me $60 ones!!! she stole my money and when confronted, the Dj in the booth told me i was crazy and needed to leave. I've been visiting this place since 2017. went downhill, save your money and go to players or legends for quality dancers and where they are professional. very upsetting experience read more

Whoever says that Disney World is the 'greatest place on earth' clearly hasn't been to the Coliseum. I accidentally found this place after JonJon's went bad. It was risky, I had been to one or two of these places on 8 Mile and I braced myself for the worst. I pull my car into the parking lot and things already look bad. It is next door to a junkyard. A junkyard on 8 Mile of all places - this was classic! Then the mandatory valet. This is something I am fine with if I know that I like the joint, but I'm already squeamish. I go inside and and I am hit with coat-check, cover and the now all-too-common up-charge for a booth. Now keep in mind, up to this point I haven't seen a single titty. I feel like I'm being taken for a ride. Then the bouncer pulls back the curtain and I am welcomed into paradise. First of all the place is bigger than it looks from outside. Not huge either, it's just right. Stage for three down the center flanked on either side by a separate, full bar. Double balconies on either end for up to four private parties. Personally, I have never seen these used. The furnishings are lavish without being gaudy. The chairs near the stage turn out to be surprisingly comfortable; they're downright cozy. I couldn't believe how many girls were there, at least twenty - it could have been as high as thirty-five. They were everywhere! Drinks were moderately priced (for a strip-club) at about $7-8 for a Blue Moon. Sometimes I get the orange wedge, sometimes not. They have a full kitchen which I reluctantly tried and ended up loving. I expected a truck-stop egg salad sandwich and in stead I got one of the best steaks I have ever eaten It was the $10 special to boot. I would return to this place for the food alone. Luckily for me they have more than just food. I eventually ended up realizing they have two more dancer poles, one off to each side. After 9:00 on busy nights they have five or six dancers on stage at once. I appreciate that everyone has their own opinion about what is sexy. While I like the 'walking-stick' super-model look, I understand that many do not share my opinion. Fear not, there were more fatties (girls over 100 pounds) than I care to think about, but some of them turned out to be pretty hot too. All kidding aside, this place obviously has the pick of the litter with girls, good luck finding better. The website says they have a helipad, but I never saw it. I have been here 4 or 5 times now and each time I leave feeling like I just won the lottery, even though my wallet has just been scooped clean. People are leery about the area, but when you pull to the front of the Coliseum, the mandatory valet eases that right away (for me, anyway). It was supposedly "Couples Night" and women are supposed to free with a guy. We got charged, and I wasn't in a fighting mood. They were packed on a Saturday night, and we had to sit by the stage. The girls were pretty top-notch. Lots of cute girls, some really hot ones, varying body shapes and races. A lot of them could really dance, too. The waitress wasn't SUPER-attentive, but it was busy so I'll cut her some slack. It was a long time sitting there before we were approached for a couple's dance... by two gorgeous girls that hadn't been on stage yet. They took us to the back, asked our budget (which I love), and the four of us had a lovely time on the tiny couch. The girls were sweet, sexy, and a lot of fun. Okay, I'm following female reviewers of adult entertainment again. I figured I did the Penthouse Club review. I might as well do this one too. I think that The Coliseum and The Penthouse Club are really the only such establishments on 8 Mile worth reviewing, but that's just me. Nicole T. seems to know all about the stats and the physical plant. For me, the place is a bit cheesy. I mean, come on. Why is the place done in this Egyptian motif when the name is Roman? Silly. I do have to echo Nicole T.'s comment that the service is good. The food, what little I had, was pretty good. I just had one of those nearly ubiquitous steak tip appetizers with a dancer once. I imagine she got a commission or something for that. The dancers are generally attractive, but I give the edge to The Penthouse Club's dancers. Of course, that's all subjective. It's been a while. So, things may have changed, but from the reviews that precede mine here, it seems that the dancers are still quite attractive. The private dance area, when I was there last, was a separate area at the end of the main room. Curtains hid the little dance areas. One time I was there, it was for a friend's bachelor party. His friends reserved one of the sky boxes. From there, one could have a nice birds-eye view of the place. One need not worry that the dancers are far away, for they come and visit you up in the box. It goes without saying that you're going to need some money to play. Just know what you're getting into. I've proudly been to the Coliseum both times I've visited Detroit. This place literally has a helipad. I have no idea who uses it, but for those of us who are in town, staying in hotels and w/o a rental car, flying a helicopter sounds like a much better idea than trying to catch a cab on 8 Mile after the club closes. OK i was invited here to watch an amateur UFC cage fight... Fantastic !! Once the festivities got started, it was nice... Very big in the inside. Exclusive menu, and Wine options. I ordered the Grilled Swordfish it came on top of sauteed spinach, garlic, onions and portabella mushrooms, with red beans and rice and corn on the cob.....The fish and spinach was excellent I'm watching my weight so did not eat the rice nor the corn so i cant tell you how that part was... The entertainment was pretty cool, the girls here seem more into body building, no flabby patties here lol if that's your thing... But their dancing capabilities were not all of that but were not bad, I've seen bad!!! The drinks were kinda watered down. I prob had about 7-10 drinks including shots and was barley buzzing. I'm usually a 2 drink max so i know it was the drinks . As far as the fight goes, it was awesome!!! The commentator was extra funny! keeping the crowd in-gaged.. The fighters were pretty entertaining i almost wanted to place a side bet on a few of the fights. Some of the fights went 3 rounds..most of them only last 1 lol at like 60 seconds people were tapping out rather fast!.. but all in all very entertaining. But i would def come back here. I like this place better than the majority of the clubs on 8 mile, but the inside is almost kind of dirty. Or a more accurate description would be - I felt like I was on the set of that terrible Flinstones Movie they made in the 90's. The private rooms are small and - not so private. And the booths are drab and uncomfortable. Not very swanky for all the hype that I've heard. I would recommend it over many others, but it isn't as 'fab' as you may think. If you have ever read any of my reviews concerning gentleman's clubs then you know they really aren't my stomping grounds unless it's within my particular aesthetic. With this place the space is pretty smooth, there's a huge center stage and a bunch of strip stages. What drew me to the place was the fact I can smoke my cigar here. They have a somewhat secluded upstairs area where you can sit and enjoy a smoke. So obviously I sat there. When it comes to downstairs, keep in mind I went on a busy weekend day, you have to pay for a booth. They have a full bar and food menu though I didn't eat because eating in the strip joint just isn't my schtick. The servers were good considering how busy it was, I was asked if I needed anything on several occassions. There was a waitress name Tiffany and a shot girl named Lori who stood out in particular as they seemed to check on us even more frequently than the others, they even sat to chat and rest there feet for a moment. The girls seemed okay I guess, its a club with predominantly black dancers so that was a good change of pace. They were after the bread so I really didn't interact with any of them but they seemed accomadating to the crowd. I would definitely go back due to the service and space but if you want to know about the girls you'll have to check another post because as oddly as it may sound I wasn't really there for them. read more

Venue was great - Dancers were very tasteful and polite - They make excellent drinks. Valet service was horrible. They damaged our truck and when I went to report it the guy laughed and said "you got a problem, call to cops" and then walked away. When he came back to the valet booth he told me that I needed to move or he was going to call the police on me! Very poor way to end a fun night. read more

Finally about the Dancers 75% looked good had different variety even Asian's. I hate when a whore acts like her shit don't stink and that's why she didn't get jack shit. It was an experience the second I walked in!, The intoxicating aroma overwhelmed me as it wafted up my nostrils. The Thalassic symphony sent my olfactory nerve into overdrive. There isn't a word pleasant enough to describe the oh so sweet smell but the closest thing I could compare the scent to would be a top notch seafood bar inside of the winning teams locker room, it was pure ecstasy. Walking in greeted by a surprisingly laid back bouncer I had my coat checked, payed the cover and was on my way to the booth( a place Ive long considered a second home!). I will note that the costs may seem steep upon first arrival but I assure you for the downright..orgasmic experience ahead of you, you won't be displeased. I scoped out the area and discovered all the women were beautiful with a variety of different ethnicity, shape, sizes, and. . aroma. I was quickly approached by a very beautiful, robust young goddess with a tan complexion and wavy dark hair. My night began slow with a few on special drinks and a couple of dances, my dancer quickly realized that the bulge in my wallet wasn't going to be contained..and thats when my begrimed adventure really began. She escorted me to the back into a V.I.P. room, we talked about my spending limit for a few minutes and what the limits were..essentially there were none if the price was right! So we began, first on the menu was the most delicious, hairiest fish taco I ever had laid my teeth into. Though i was in pure ecstasy I found myself lapping up the leftover fibers of crusted toilet paper which was new for me. This when on for a pretty fair amount of time considering our price negotiation.(Side note: At one point my tongue was so far inside her that I thought to myself,"If she tenses up I might get my tongue pinched right off".) After a delicious well balanced meal I decided I had enough money for dessert. This consisted of the best stripper sex I had ever had. Absolutely trashed on well priced drinks It felt like something of a spiritual journey onto another plane of existence. Absolutely life changing and lasted long enough for me to be reborn into a brand new man. Overall I had a very good experience from the moment I walked In. Stumbling out to my car I could taste the biggest win of my life, I felt disgusting in all the right ways and now It was time to go back home to my wife and kids. I had lost track of time and I didn't want them to call my buddy's house to ask if the game was over. I made it home just in time to kiss my awesome children to sleep with no questions asked.
