In the end I felt the discussion of my attire had become unprofessional when he felt it necessary to tell me how long he had been in the business. (I look ten years younger than I am). At that time I told him I would call my ride to turn around because I didn't like the energy and I apologized for the disagreement. I grabbed my coat from the coat check and asked if I needed to wait outside or if I could grab a seat. As I asked I pointed to a specific seat. He said yes so I sat down. I was visiting from out of town and we tried another club earlier in the day that was horrible, only stayed for 20 minutes. This on the other hand put a smile on your face as soon as got passed the brother at the door. The inside is nice, the girls are beautiful, and the music was "Poletastic"... yeah I said it. I'm from Cali, so I have a natural aversion to eating in these types of clubs, but the plates they had coming out of the kitchen here seriously made me question my commitment to that philosophy.
