But Saddleback will turn you into an incredible nurse. The instructors really know their stuff. There is AMPLE support, almost too much in fact! There will be a lot of laughter, a lot of tears, and a lot of excitement. She always had great ideas on how to get kids involved in activities even if they were a bit shy. She came to classes with tons of material and adjusted to kids' pace and level yet pushed them to do more in a playful form. She's very sweet and friendly, so my daughter felt no pressure, and always wanted to go to her classes. Later on, when my son was going through the same stage, we didn't have any doubts whether to sign up for Ms. Kyria's class or not. Ms. Kyria was always great at communicating with parents, sent us materials to work at home, shared pictures from her classes, so we always knew what's going on. I put my heart into practicing long hours for the city competition and I still have been proud that I got the prize from it. Then time went by and I realized that I should measure different options for my lifetime career and there my violin became the less priority. After all, there is one and only Sarah Chang. I wanted to fill that leap of time and dusted off my violin hidden in my closet and went to this school to create beautiful sound once more. Moving on... The actual school space: very small, run down, doesn't look like "university." The majority of the school ground has no sound proof. Most rooms are small and heated to max during the day because of the windows are apparently walls. There are few rooms for more advanced ones who have orchestra or competition purposes. I didn't let few minors to defeat my passion though. The school president aka the owner is very understanding, kind and caring. The daughter who hangs around the school, NOT. She gave me evil eyes couple of times with no apparent reasons. I paid on time and worked on my skills with best of intention. It's not like I practice in the middle of the waiting room. One word: Creepy. I do not like the daughter's attitude towards the kind disciples like myself. Currently trying to find other academies, not necessarily "university."

The professors and teaching staff are knowledgeable, friendly and AVAILABLE. Talbot is committed to conservative evangelical theology and Biblical inerrancy/scholarship. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained. If you attend Talbot, you will find that the Talbot community is better described as a Talbot family. Here in So Cal, simply put, it doesn't get any better than this... though a close exception could possibly be The Master's Seminary (TMS would only be just as good, not better, especially once the campus itself is factored in).

You could also join the chapel worship on tues/thursdays to hear sermons from the amazing staff & faculty have lunch at the food truck or at the cafe with huge windows but make sure you are there before the lunch traffic starts! (go around 11:30ish!)
