It was a quirky, fun evening. The price was very affordable for the offering. The night I attended there was a local comic emcee, 1 local and two touring comics. I recognized the headliner from a minor film role. He especially was hilarious. I don't drink alcohol, but it was an interesting draw that the night included an open bar. Since this is held at a working Quality Inn, they advertise staying the night, which we didn't need/do since we weren't drinking. The room was a little cold so make sure to bring a jacket. read more

Just wonderful. It's at the location of the comfort inn... so it's easy to get a room for night. The $40 covers all drinks and it's a fully stocked bar. This place is a gem in Palmetto Bay. And I'm pretty picky with comedy. It's small and homey. The MC and comic David Stebbins was fantastic and great at working the crowd. He's extremely witty and was built to be a comedian. Also enjoyed the other act, and the main act (Nick Griffin) at the end. We laughed a lot. My wife loved it too. And the price is reasonable. The Comedy Inn I have to say has a very impressive setup, you would never know this quant little hotel was hosting private invite only night club comedy. I've been to other comedy clubs in the Miami area, most of them only have 2-3 acts sell you on low cost or free entry fee, but then get you on minimal drink purchases and over priced food. No B/S here they have an open bar option which is only a couple of dollars more then the standard ticket and get this once you're on their mailing list you get a discount code. Really can't go wrong here. I would say the place sits about 80 people so there's not a bad sit in the house. We prefer to get a sit close to the bar. I've tried plenty of comedy and improv places in south Florida and nothing compares to the QUALITY (you'll get it if you've been) that they deliver. Always top notch comedians and a great time. You must get the ticket with the open bar, it's so worth it. When I first attended their shows, I went alone and sat in the front (felt like a mistake because they pick on you) but I had a blast. The second time I brought this girl for our first date, so in a way the Comedy Inn helped bring us together. We now try to attend every show. I can't recommend this place enough. Mike and his team are killing it. And I want to thank them all for the great times, laughs, and experiences. As someone who struggles with depression, I look forward to these shows every month. Great Local Comedy Spot! What is This? A place in Palmetto Bay that has Comedy? Unheard of? Well it's Not! Located in the Quality Inn on US1. This small little comedy club packs A Punch of Comedy needed in the area. For $35 you get All You Can Drink! Not just Cheap beer and low end alcohol but The Good Stuff. They have a well stocked bar run by two Awesome Ladies! The room is small and it fits about 50-60 people. So its very intimate and you get to see and hear the Comedians perfectly. I think it happens once a month but I'm not sure so you can call or check on line for details. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Comedy in the Palmetto Bay area. I'd been meaning to come here for awhile, but I was skeptical that a 70's era hotel of dubious reputation and a lackluster restaurant could sustain a comedy club. However, when I saw that NYC based actor/comedian Andrew Schulz was headlining here, I decided to go for it and I'm very glad I did. Comedy Inn asks when you inquire about a show, to get on their "Inn-vite" email list with notifications of upcoming shows. They also give you a 10% off promo code, which negates the service fee that online ticket service Eventbrite charges. I came about 45 minutes early and quickly found close (and free) parking. You can sit in the lobby before the doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. There are no tickets; they have your name on an e-list at the door. For an extra $10, you can upgrade to an open, premium bar. If you check in on Yelp, you can get $5 off of this, so that was great. Once inside, you can hit the bar right away. Bartender Dee, and her partner, were great. She remembered my name and my drink order (Tito's n' soda) throughout the evening...they did an outstanding job. The room itself is a conference room with fairly comfortable chairs with a capacity of about 100 guests. There aren't any "bad" seats. MC David Stebbins got the show going right on time... 2 other comedians, Dave Del Rosario and 'Cisco Duran appeared before Andrew Schulz. They were both pretty funny, and Andrew's act was filthy, depraved and outrageous, yet hysterically funny at the same time. Afterwards, as you exit out to a breezeway, you can greet the comedians as you leave. So, for $35, Comedy Inn is a GREAT value, as you get to see 3 comedians and have an open bar with the "good stuff"...I actually had a better time than when I go to the cramped confines and 2 (expensive) drink minimums of the comedy clubs in NYC! It was recommended by my cousin so I figured I check it out. The minute you arrive, the staff makes you feel welcome and they are all so nice. Unfortunately the night I decided to go they were having a Spanish headliner, which I must say it was hard to process as I do speak Spanish but she was from Chile and it was difficult for me to understand with the accent. The opening acts were hilarious and in English! I would have gone just to see FRANCISCO "CISCO" DURAN, that guy had the whole place laughing hysterically. He was very funny! The price is good and like all the other reviews stated its OPEN BAR included with your paid admission with quality liquor, not the cheap crap others sell you. Doing the comedy circuit once again. I've reviewed the Miami Improv; I've reviewed Uva. Now for The Comedy Inn, the last bastion of hope for a man trying to support his friend's hobby. Wait a second: a comedy show less than 5 minutes from my house with free parking and all you can drink? ATTENTION CITIZENS OF PALMETTO BAY AND PINECREST: MARK YOUR FRIDAY NIGHTS FOR COMEDY INN. Seriously, its $25 to get in and all you can drink. Booze is whatever they have, which usually has a variety of rums (Captain Morgan's and Malibu), vodka (Smirnov), whiskey (Jack and/or Jim), wine and beer (Yuengling until it runs out, then Miller Lite and Coronas). Sometimes after the show, if the turnout was huge they'll have pizza, which will help sober you up. A nice touch. Oh yeah, there's also a show. Usually they get about 3-4 local comedians perform and a headliner. Again, this isn't open mic night at the Improv, these are the young (well some are old) men and women who are working on their craft and all hilarious. You have great talent just trying to make a name for themselves and presenting a wide variety of humor (family, geek, parody, relationships or lack there of), you have the "still local but have been on cable" comedians like Johnny Trabs, and if you went on 8/6 you saw Detroit comedian Dwayne Gill who was on Last Comic Standing. The comedians rotate on a weekly basis, but you are sure to have a great time no matter what the week. Notes: While this isn't 21 and up, there is alcohol and adult comedians. This isn't for kids or for those who are easily offended. As word of mouth has begun to spread (I know, who would have thought you could get great entertainment and boozed up without leaving your neighborhood ?), the place is getting more packed each week - If you are with a group get there early. Lastly, just be courteous to the other guests and performers. Everyone is there to have a good time, so just be relaxed and enjoy the show. read more

we've gone to about 4 shows in a row...i became addicted to laughing. the show is a tiny room but comfortable enough. I drink wine and they have red (Merlot) or white...only options. oh well, drink up. hubby has whiskey (not sure brands but he's fine enough with it). all shows that ive gone to are funny AF. i live in the area so it's nice to not have to drive to BFE for entertainment. only way to know when there is a show is to get on their mailing list...they do not spam me. parking is abundant and free! i don't recommend getting there too early b/c lobby gets crowded. there are no bad seats really, but get ready to receive it from the comics if you sit in the front. enjoy the show! read more

The Comedy Inn is located in the Quailty Inn by The Falls Mall. $25 gets you enterance to the show and open bar all night. The room is fairly large with a bowl of chex mix on each table. The open bar was good, didn't have any of that cheap house liquor. They even had Ying Ling beer. I saw they had Mailbu as well, but couldn't see that much else because it was a little dark. The crowd is a bit on the older side but for great comedy I didn't mind. The comedians were really funny. A guy even came out imitating Chris Angel and that shit was great. The host is great and the owner is very humble as he comes out in the begining of the show to introduce himself. During the middle of the show the bartenders start giving out shots to everyone. At the end of the show Papa John's pizza was waiting outside for everyone. Come early so you can get a seat. Show starts at 9:00, I was there at like 9:15 and it was fairly packed already. This turned out wayyyyy better than I expected. At first i wondered how they could host a comedy show inside a Quality Inn, but it's actually the most up close and personal comedy show you could ever go to. It's inside a conference room, decked out with a stage, cool lights, and best of all an open bar with top notch alcohol & beer. There are plenty of tables and chairs with snacks, but just enough to still make you feel exclusive and like a VIP. No matter where you sit you get a perfect view of the stage and the comedians get a perfect view of you so there is no place to hide from them picking you as their target. The people are welcoming and friendly, and if I get to hammered, I just grab a room at the Quality Inn (where the Comedy Inn is located). I picked up the groupon special a couple of months ago and I was a little skeptical not knowing what to expect. Overall, I had a real good time; the comedians were on point and the atmosphere was live and vibrant!! I thought the selection of alcohol was average at best and some of the mixes werent top notch. The bartenders had to work that one line fast and their set up was not very comfortable, I would recommend to get them some extra help at least at the beginning of the show where crowds tend to get the longest and def. a much more comfortable setting for them. I would def. go again and recommend yelpers to give it a try and see if you become a fan of The Comedy Inn! read more

Went to the comedy club last Saturday night with a group of 7 friends. We all enjoyed the show very much but we all agreed on a couple of things. The room is very small, they seat you in rows of chairs closer than an airline seat to the person sitting next to you. Also on this particular night there was a 14 year old in the front row celebrating his birthday. Umm yes a "14" year old. Yes, this is an adult comedy show and I'm sure he learned a lot that night but it kind of took away as each comedian focused on this young boy (one even brought him on stage to tell a joke). I assumed since this is an adult comedy show kids would not be allowed? Guess it's ok, so if you can't find a babysitter bring the kids along. The tickets are $30 general admission and $40 includes open bar. They do offer top shelf liquor but cups are very small and if you aren't lucky enough to be on an end seat you may not be able to get up for a 2nd drink. But, I will still go back because all in all the comedians are great and there are no other comedy shows in the area. read more
