I had 10 songbooks made and they printed them wrong, and when I asked for them to be corrected, they told me they would repeat the job at a 15% discount. It was their fault and they wanted to charge me again and give me a discount. The owner hid in the back and we're not even come to talk to me. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Do not use them.!!!! read more

We used Copy Hut for a number of items for my sister's recent wedding near Kingston. I went in on Friday morning needing to get all of the name cards printed for the tables. The staff there were helpful and friendly, set up the names in a mail merge and designed them to fit on a nice sized card. It was all easy to set up, the cards were printed up that day for a reasonable price and we picked them up that afternoon. My mom had also used Copy Hut to print inserts for the invitations and other papers for the weekend. Thanks to the staff there for their quick turnarounds and professional service. read more

This place is a mess. The person who scanned my image had no training (she cut a portion of the image off and scanned it on the wrong format) and then when I had to drive back the next day to have it fixed the manager had no training and thought that she was justified in charging me twice because I had "approved" the image before I left. I did the best I could given that A) Their monitor does not turn to face you completely and B) I ASSUMED that she would have scanned the whole image so I didn't check for THAT. Why would anyone have need for a partially scanned art??? It just makes no sense. Right next door is a much better place actually. read more

Everyone at The Copy Hut was great. I had a rush job, because I needed some brochures to take to a professional conference the next day. They were expert and professional and got the job done by early afternoon. This really took a load off my mind, because I was stressed out with so many other details to coordinate. (I actually started the job with Staples the week before, but after 3 days Staples couldn't even get me a first proof to review. They could never explain why they were having such problems. They called me on Saturday night at 7:30 pm to say they were giving up, leaving me totally high and dry. The Copy Hut bailed me out with no fuss and no bother. Nice inside with Ricoh equipment despite looking like a dump on the outside. The biggest issue is the pricing and the staff. All except one of the Staff were miserable, unhappy and unfriendly. The only nice, friendly and genuinely helpful person there was a tall Redhead. She was pleasant to deal with. The pricing is higher than Staples or other local printers albeit Staples uses mostly Zerox which is not as nice as the Ricoh equipment. However, the quality is close enough for me to not have to subject myself to unfriendly staff and higher prices. Also, when asked about a discount for what equates to at least $15,000 to $20,000 worth of print work annually, I was told there was nothing they could do for me. Staples provides my business with a reasonable discount for annual volume and again, they have a much friendlier, happier and helpful staff. Despite this, I smiled the entire time and thanked the Copy Hut staff for helping me while treating them with professional courtesy and respect. I did not want to feed in to their misery and give them any excuse for justification for their attitude towards me for any reason whatsoever. I cannot recommend Copy Hut based on my experience but you can decide what your priorities and preferences are when doing business with a company. Personally, I do not like to be greeted with attitude, disdain and anger the second I walk in the door. Not recommended. read more
