Now granted, that dry cleaners is eco-friendly and what they were charging was $40 a panel. $320 in the end? For curtains? No. While Scanlon's on Ulster Ave in Kingston, NY isn't organic, they came in at $15 a panel. Done deal. Scanlon's is what you would want from a cleaners: tidy, offers same day dry cleaning, ironing+laundry services and has a detail website highlighting other services such a leather and Ugg cleaning, wedding dress services, etc. Do ask about repair+mending services- if any. Hubs chose his shirts to be hung instead of boxed when he dropped off them off. Unlike other cleaners where you pay when you pick up your clothes, here, you have to pay(?) upfront when you drop off your clothes. Regardless, Chris and his team actually gave my linen curtains the care they deserve and hubs' shirts had a nice crisp to them. The turnaround time was great between dropping my curtains off and picking them up. Hassle-free, prompt and great pricing.

I have used the pickup service for household laundry- blankets, sheets, curtains- and everything has come back nicely folded in plastic bags. I appreciate the periodic specials to offset the cost of saving my shoulders for these bulky items, and the pickup/delivery service is so very convenient. These were literally a few $25 dollar blankets from walmart, so the one wash was more expensive than buying new ones! when I complained I was told that they would give me some credit back but then they changed their minds - after spending over $500 dollars at this place, I really would have continued to be a loyal customer for years! Too bad, Scanlon - I suppose you have enough customers to be this short-sighted, but you've certainly lost one.
