There is a separate room for cigars, coolers for mixers, and smaller shopping carts. The guys working kept offering help, but I shop by price point so not much to look for. On the plus side, they do have multiple price points from $10 for a bottle to over $100. They also have coolers of beer in the back. Selection is otherwise predictable, prices seem okay. Ice is available in a cooler outside.

The wine selection is limited but the prices are really good. The store just went through some renovations and now it looks more open, spacious and cleaner! Nikki G's is NOTHING like that. It's a family owned/run business, clean, safe location, super friendly with competitive pricing. It basically seems like an old neighborhood market, except they sell alcohol. They also always have my fave Coppola wine (which is probably only my favorite because we used to go Coppola's winery for dinner and it has a map of where we used to live on the back label and I MISS CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!) So, bottom line: Nikki G's is not one of these super fancy, fake ivy strung everywhere kind of places...it's a package store. A nice package store owned by a very nice family.

I honestly expected a one room hole in the wall with maybe a few token bottles of wine. But no! Inside is well lit, spacious, and two rooms with beautiful brick arches separating them. (The cashier hypothesized it may have one day, long ago, been a pizzeria) The wine is mostly reasonably priced, twenty dollars or below with names you know and enjoy. There is beer available in the coolers, and liquors behind the "bar" in the main room the cashier will get for you. I even found a new kind of liquor to try! This is definitely a fun store to check out.
