I was so excited to be able to dine at their location Friday evening. The menu is fantastic and everything that I have ordered, I have been impressed with. This past Friday, my wife and I shared the burger battle burger. I can tell you that it was one of the more reasonably priced burgers (it was an absurd price last year, so I am glad it has gone down to where the other competitors are at). It was incredibly delicious and our server recommended to pair it with a sour. That recommendation was one of the best pairings I have had with any type of food. I cannot wait to come back to the brick and mortar to try more of their permanent menu and have a cold beer. It is absolutely worth your while to visit.

They had me at Cuban…read more Very few places make an authentic Cuban sandwich in the middle of South Dakota so when I saw this family food truck (that I kept missing) was opening a brick and mortar restaurant... I was excited to check it out! The first thing I had to try was the Cubano and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. I planned to get the Platanos (one of my favorites) to go with it but Andre explained that supplier issues meant no plantains for me. While a little disappointing, this is a common issue in these parts so I went with the rice and beans instead. This was a tasty alternative especially when mixed together with the sauce that comes with the Cubano - try it! Dakota Cuban also has craft cocktails on the menu. The Piña Colada came highly recommended and they were happy to make it a mocktail for me. It was almost (ALMOST) too pretty to drink and the perfect compliment to my meal! The vibe is well curated around the heritage of the owners. You could see their passion in the decor and the food. I walked in right when they opened and within 10 minutes the place was packed with great energy. I can't wait to visit again and bring friends to try the rest of the menu!
