We were initially taken aback by the vast offering of Jellycat plush toys. The employee (owner?) who was in explained that they offer a wide selection of Jellycats, many of which are considered rare or very challenging to get ahold of. In addition to the plush toys, they also had a large variety of perfumes and perfume testers to sniff. I was really excited to see one of my favorite perfumes, Juliette Has a Gun, available in such variety. If my suitcase wasn't already jam packed heading out here, I would have totally purchased a bottle as a gift to myself. This was an adorable shop and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Unfortunately, my experience was extremely uncomfortable. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being watched and profiled. I was followed closely around the store and repeatedly told not to touch items, which made it impossible to browse or shop normally. At one point the owner was standing right next to me and speaking in a way that felt more like being scolded than helped. They won't let you look around the shop without following you around and asking you not to touch anything. Oh also they have a million perfume testers which they get mad if you smell them. Literally you cannot smell open samples of perfumes or they scream at you not to touch them. The overall attitude was very hostile and unwelcoming, which was surprising in a neighborhood where most small business owners are warm and appreciative of customers. I left feeling really disappointed because I had intended to give them my business. After mentioning the experience to a few other locals, I learned that others had similar interactions there. I hope the owners reconsider how they treat customers because the environment felt unnecessarily negative and uncomfortable. Ps. Same lady in all the other review pictures ! The gem of a place was mainly a garden center with plants and flowers both inside and out. However, scattered amongst the branches and blossoms inside were a coffeeshop with homemade baked goods, cafe tables and lounge-like couches, a bar making drinks with freshly-grown herbs, and a shop with upscale home decor, kitchenware, and gourmet food products. Outside resembled an elegant rose garden with plenty of seating, as well as rotating food trucks and musicians. After we explored the grounds, we grabbed drinks from the bar (a herbaceous, citrusy mocktail for me and a cherry margarita for my companion) and sat outside among the flowers. It was a great experience at one of the coolest venues I had ever seen!

Ask to see their upstairs storage room where a lot of heir inventory is stored in a more warehouse like environment, but there is a lot to see there. We have houses in Scottsdale and San Diego, and every summer we come to NJ we go there and find something and they ship our items for us (a bit high shipping costs, but always packed well and nothing has every broken).

Jenna recently did a family shoot for my husbands mom's 90th birthday celebration. Most of his…read moresiblings live out of state and this would be the first time all of mom's kids and their spouses would be together in NJ in years...so we thought it would be wonderful to commemorate her day with some family photos! Once we had the date and plan secured, Jenna called me to go over details for the day of the shoot. She was especially focused on how the time of day and the light would play, especially in the hot summer sun. She also asked for the names of all involved (12 people!) and we also went over the list of each group of shots she would take. We settled on photos of mom with her kids and spouses, mom with just her kids, the siblings each alone with mom, each couple alone, each couple with mom, and she even randomly threw in (unplanned!) photos of mom and each of the spouses on the swing that hangs from a tree in the back of our property! So fun! Finally she took photos of mom with her birthday cake with all of us around her and a few of her alone with her cake. She never looked to rush off and made sure we had all that we wanted before she packed up. We had chosen to do the photos around 6pm and Jenna was absolutely correct about the light that time of day...,the images she took could not be any better! We received our photo gallery of the photos taken in a timely fashion and they are all so fantastic! She succeeded in making everyone super at ease and took great care and attention to detail while ensuring that everyone got photos taken that they would enjoy forever! Jenna is the sweetest person and super professional with an amazing eye and true attention to detail! I had a specific vision for my engagement photos and asked Jenna to do non-traditional engagement photos in our home and SHE DELIVERED! Being in our home taking our engagement photos was such a special moment for my husband and it made us much more comfortable then being out in public.
