This spot is a order at the counter and sit spot. My friend and I went for brunch (only offered during the weekend), and it was delicious! They have a small menu, but everything sounded good. The two dishes we got were full of flavor. I did not expect them to have a Korean chicken and waffles (due to it being a Mexican restaurant) but it was SO good. The restaurant its self is clean, and comfortable. The servers were very nice, and attentive for this type of seated service.

As always 10/10 Today I got a spicy Korean sando (I opted for no bun). The fried chicken is crunchy the slaw is delicious and there is a nice spicy heat level that is a flavor (not burn your face off). . I just love this place. The Mexican and Asian and then Mexican Asian fusion dishes are so good. I really like the Korean pork taco. Perfection. . Staff are friendly. Cooks are efficient and fast. The space is sleek and clean. I love this place.

Our Supper Club group ate at The Corner Kitchen and it was such a good choice - everything was delicious and super affordable for what you get! The ambiance is very light and open with white walls and simple wooden tables, letting the food and service do all the talking without lots of bells and whistles in the decor (though there is a time and place for that, don't get me wrong!) Our group started with a few apps: -Chorizo Queso Fries: The fries were super crispy and delicious, and the topping of the chorizo and queso (along with some crumbly cotjia cheese) was so perfect. -Elote Tots: These were tasty little tots covered in a chili lime mayo sauce, corn, and cotija cheese. Yum, definitely recommend these! -Fried Shishito Peppers: I think these were on special when we came, because I don't see them on the menu anymore. But they were so good, so if you ever see them there again, make sure to snag an order! They were similar to fried green beans if you've had those, but with a little kick (since it's a pepper and not a bean), along with a delicious batter coating and dipping sauce that was so great and extra creamy! For my entree, I got the Quesa Birria Tacos, and it was definitely a good choice! It came on a giant black circular plate with the three corn tortilla tacos, a side of beans and rice, and the little ramekin of birria consommé for drizzling over each taco as you go, or dipping if you're up for that. Everything here is bright and welcoming, from the decor, menu, food items, and service - definitely suggest venturing there next time you're in the mood for really good, authentic Mexican!

We were greeted when we entered, waitress behind the desk asked if it was our first time. She explained the process and showed us the specials. We sat ourselves at a booth. We ordered elote and a spicy elote, shrimp and bacon tacos(special) and the surf and turf burrito. We first received the elote, Beautiful presentation. Only downfall, husband can't have corn on the cob. I cut some off for him and they were both amazing. Then our main courses came and they both had beautiful presentation also. Something you wouldn't expect from a cafe in a strip mall, more high end. The shrimp on both were big and cooked perfectly. We both enjoyed it and have already talked about returning to taste their big menu.

There's a lot going on at The Corner Kitchen. It starts with a strong Mexican influence. Then you add in some Asian styles, a little surf and turf and even a few All-American recipes. Everything on the menu looked good - burgers and other handhelds, burritos, noodles and snacks. I ended up looking past all of it because I wanted tacos. I went with the Korean Pork Taco, the Chicken Sriracha Taco and the Surf and Turf. They were fantastic - especially the Surf and Turf. Filling, too. They were a little larger than your normal street taco and were filled with ingredients. One quick note - business was steady on a lazy Saturday afternoon, however there might be a wait during peak times.

    Rangoon Fries - Yum!

Taco Tuesday with gluten-free option! Tuesday's Taco special, $2 street tacos. Hidden gem with a lot of carry out.

Delicious! Definitely a hidden gem, thank you yelp for having this on your top 100 restaurants across the US. The shrimp taco and the birria taco were both equally scrumptious, and even better because it was taco Tuesday. The elote tots and the Rangoon fries were also very yummy! Can't go wrong here.

The Corner Kitchen was such a pleasant surprise for us! We were in Omaha picking my son up from the airport and had no idea where we were going to grab some food...so I consulted the Yelp top 100 restaurants for 2024 and found this gem! There were 4 of us dining so we decided on a fun mi of things to try. Ended up with the quesa-birria taco, brussel sprout taco, al pastor taco, bang bang chicken sando, nashville chicken burrito, elote bites and kimchi brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious! Food came out one or two items at a time which we didn't mind and actually appreciated! Everything was fresh, hot, and very flavorful! The standouts were the kimchi brussel sprouts, bang bang chicken sando and the elote bites. When in Omaha we definitely recommend checking out The Corner Kitchen!

I saw The Corner Kitchen on a best of Yelp 2024 list, so we had to try it while we were in town. It's not a huge space, but they have a lot of seating. We went for lunch on Saturday, and it wasn't too busy. We didn't have to wait long for our food. We shared the elote bites, which were AMAZING. And much bigger than I thought they'd be. A must order!! I ordered a surf & turf taco, and a quesa-birria taco. Both were so yummy. My husband had the surf & turf burrito and loved it. I definitely will be coming back here, and I highly recommend it if you're in Omaha!

Walked clean, friendly, and nice atmosphere. Menu had all kinds of options, frier was down, but we will be back to try some of those fun options for tots and fries!! The Korean pork taco!!! I think my favorite thing. Delicious flavor. One of the best things was the house made (shells) because I can't think of the word... just the right size & not to thick. What also made these tasty was to sides of sauce! That should be on the menu to buy! Fabulous! I'm ready to go back!! See you soon

We had a party of 11 and were seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon. My cousin's husband wanted me to let everyone know that they don't sell alcohol. The vibe was very casual. We found parking at the back of the restaurant. We all ordered different things and everything was delicious. Yes, these tacos do taste like the ones in Tijuana. The quesobirria tacos were scrumptious.

I got a fried pork, spiced pork and beef cheek taco. The tacos are street taco style. each taco came with minced onion, cilantro and guac , and some lime on the side. They are wrapped so nicely in sandwich wrapping paper. The corn tortillas are warm, flexible and fresh tasting. The red and green salsa served on the side are very spicy. I also got a side of refried beans which I liked a lot because it also seemed to be cooked to perfection. Located at Q & 24, there is a small parking lot behind the restaurant. Pro Tip, you order with your wait staff at the table, and they give you a check number. When you are ready to leave, take your check number to the front desk. This is really efficient, so you can settle your bill on your own time, and not have to wait for the wait staff to bring your bill, run your cash or card, wait some more ... I like this business model for fast casual dining. I've started my 24 Ave S food tour starting at Q and ending up at Cuming. I am looking at non-chain places to eat. I am convinced 24 Ave S is one of the most delicious streets in all of Omaha.
