I have to admit that in general, the barbecue + taco places are not my favorite type of restaurant. This was better than average because they really DO have good meat. Other places I have been really don't do great meat and you just can't make anything from that. I got 2 pork tacos. In my opinion, I still don't really love how the flavors here come together. I think the sweet chili sauce is not helping here. I also got hot sauce, of course. She asked if I want "hot" or "HOT hot". I chose the second and wow! It was indeed hot. I was glad it was served on the side! I liked it but it definitely exceeded my expectations! The meat, like I said, is fantastic. I think I would prefer it in a different form rather than in this taco with the flour tortilla and lettuce, etc. I definitely appreciated that the tortillas had been warmed. I think the tacos were $4.50 each. I ate 2 and definitely was filled up, so that was a pretty good value. The menu is not large, for a side you can get a bag of chips. I like a small-menu place because the food doesn't sit around. This place is REALLY small inside. We did dine in, but all there is is a small bar with 4 stools. And a couple window seats which are cute but maybe awkward for taco-eating-seating. So this would be best for takeout, maybe go sit in the nearby park if the weather is nice.

We stopped for a quick bite to eat. We both had a smoked brisket taco. It was very good with cilantro sour cream and a sweet chili sauce. My friend doesn't like cilantro but she said it was such a small amount in the sour cream that it was good. The sweet chili sauce was a great flavor for the taco!!! A bit pricey for a taco. A small menu easy to decide. Only bottle soda, no fountain. There isn't anywhere to sit inside but there are a couple chairs and tables outside and it was a nice evening to sit outside and it is in the shade. Service was quick and they will bring your food outside to you. I would probably go again for a snack!

The food while it tastes excellent is highly overpriced for what you get. Two meals of three tacos each with bottled/can soda and chips was $42 That includes a modest $3 tip. One guy working register and serving food. He was doing well for all the orders he had.

I have always wanted to try this place! It's a nice little spot, real cozy. The service was very friendly. I think I had different expectations of the tacos. It was kinda pricey. I also was expecting something a little more authentic and with more options of tacos. They were still okay, I just felt like they were real basic and more or less something you'd make at home for a family taco night. I don't know if anyone has seen Kieth from The Try Guys online. But the White People Taco night song and vibe comes to mind. I did try the try one of each, with everything on them. Added hot sauce. I didn't even feel the heat from the hot sauce. Overall it just was not for me and if you're looking for more authentic Mexican tacos, I'd skip this place.

Stopped in for a quick bite at the Taco Guy in Papillion. A small quaint place where the cooks and staff are polite and happy to see you. Very limited indoor seating. This is the same Taco Guy who used to be in the town center park with a Taco cart only now in a brick and mortar store front. I took my foodie in-training teenager with me to see what the hype was all about. They run a very simple menu, three types of tacos. Chicken, brisket and pork. We tried the All 3 combo ($13) to sample and review them all. A little pricey for tacos but we love supporting small businesses. So we are okay with paying a bit extra for good food and service. Rank ordered from best to just okay. Pork, Brisket and then the chicken. Tacos were fresh and made on the spot. A good mix of cool cilantro sour cream and a good back end heat of their hot sauce. I would recommend just go with the pork. Order them to-go and sit in the town center park across the street for a pleasant afternoon lunch or early dinner. While it doesn't measure up to the authentic South O, Latino district street tacos, this place a great place to get a delicious bite to eat while in Papillion for the day.

Grabbed quick tacos while having some drinks across the street. Fantastic!!! The Thai sweet chili had just the right amount of heat.

Very good tacos. Not a traditional Mexican restaurant but still good food. Hope they stay busy to be in that location for years to come!

This is quite possibly the worst "Mexican" food I've ever had in my life. We ordered several items…read moreand not a single thing was good. Where do I even start? "Big Tacos" - these aren't big at all. They're basically the size of Taco Bell's small hardshell tacos, except almost twice the price and half the quality. The ground beef was dry and bland. The shells had the same texture, consistency, and flavor that you'd find in a cheap box of DIY shells from ALDI, except worse. "Rolled Tacos" - these are taquitos. Just call them what they are. Again, the meat was dry and bland. Tasted like it came out of a pre-made frozen box that they sprinkled some shredded cheese on before heating up. "Cheese Quesdilla" - this was 100% just straight up microwaved. At no point did the tortillas touch a hot pan. To add insult to injury, they put sour cream INSIDE the quesadilla before microwaving it, causing the sour cream to become hot, broken down, and of course making the microwaved quesadilla even soggier. Apparently no one told them sour cream is supposed to be a COLD condiment. The best part about our visit was the drive thru, which wasn't great, either. The person repeated our order wrong no fewer than 3 times at the speaker, and again no fewer than 3 times at the window. The person wasn't rude or unfriendly by any means; just seemed like their manager set them up to fail by providing little to no training for the role.

This is the Mexican spot that we usually hit when we want some comfort food that reminds us of back home. The service is quick sometimes language barrier is a little bit of issue, but they always make it right. You can take it to go, they are open 24 hours a day and you can also stop in. We love it. My son loves the green chili burrito/enchiladas and my husband loves the carne asada burrito. I will definitely get pictures next time. Everything just gets eaten up way too quick.

The ordering process was super simple from instagram! Their ordering page is linked to their IG page. A few clicks and I was set! They had the order ready in less than 15 minutes and the text alert system was great. I walked in and they had the order ready to go. It seemed like a smooth system, efficient and accurate. There were a ton of to go orders ready and the woman working was on the phone and still helped me. Super great service! Good price too, $25 for 3 birria and 3 street tacos seems like value in this economy! Flavor wise, some of the best birria I've tried! The consommé was savory, had tons of onion and cilantro, and came with a side of radish and lime. The meat was rich and moist without much fat, and the cheese was melty and there was plenty of it! We'll be back for sure. They don't have alcoholic drinks but there's plenty of aguas frescas and horchata. The desserts looked really good and I wish I would've picked up some fresas con crema or choco flan.
