I was told by the employee that they were unable to process my transaction using cash regardless if I had exact change. Well, although I did not agree with this policy as their precautions are not based on facts and provide no real protection to their customers, instead it just inconveniences those who do not want to use credit or plastic to pay for their purchases. It was actually a violation of my rights as a citizen as it is unconstitutional not to accept legal tender for purchases and using my debit card that day was an inconvenience as I had just withdrew cash to make my purchase prior to entering the store. I may not had been so agitated by this had the employee offered any apology for my inconvenience instead of looking at me as though I was wrong to even expect to use currency.
