The daughter of the store owner was behind the counter and was extremely friendly and helpful. My mother, an avid quilter, visiting from Florida, was impressed with the quilt fabrics and I was impressed with the overall appearance of the store. You would never guess to find a store like this right off Hwy 12, almost on the RxR tracks, but it is a wonderful shop. Great antiques, quilt fabrics, candles, Made in Montana items, and so much more. This store is truly one to stop by or make a trip out to see. Well worth the drive to the small community of Avon.

We must of talked for 30 minutes while she helped me find what I needed. During that conversation, she mentioned that they were going to start having retreats. I immediately signed my friend and I up, and we then went to our first sewing retreat at Robinsrest. It was so fun! The rooms were wonderful! Josie helped me zero in on a machine that fit my interests, Cameron has been very knowledgeable about the technical side of things, but is also a great source of knowledge about the details of which feet, which stitches, which techniques to use. Cam could absolutely fix it, but was concerned I would be back within a few months spending more to keep it running than it was worth. It had been a gift from my husband when we had very little. Cam guided us through the decision (no pressure!) of a new machine. I told him exactly what I needed and he did not attempt to "sell me" on something crazy expensive. In the end, I walked out with the perfect machine for what I needed and it was UNDER $1,000. After a couple of weeks, I was struggling with some of the features/functionality. He invited me to come in, sit down, and sew. He would be right there to answer x, y, and z. Within 2 hours, I was off and running. I'm still using that same little machine AND bought my dream longarm from them. He and Josie are THE BEST! (My little old machine DID get repaired and they donate them for use in the community.)
