I thrive to someday rent a space from them even if I live out of state. I don't really know how to explain my experiences here as I have visited more than once. The selection in comic books is great and I always visit Maggie's space to check out what's new there. I have in my possession a beautiful silver labradorite ring and Labradorite necklace charm from here. The necklace charm was from Maggie's space. We were even able to find a pearl necklace for our Grandmom Maggie as well. She loved it. The kitty in front of the store that I keep wanting to call Charlie but I just can't recall his name for some reason is a great snuggly greeter. Oh and I even purchase a vintage raisin from Maggie's space as well. To be honest I have collected some great vintage items from here and the prices are perfect! I don't live in Helena but do visit during holidays and always make sure this is the first place I visit right along with 1889 coffee house for a nice caffeinated experience after travel or visit with family. I can't wait to come visit again. Oh and the name. The name is what pulled me in. I love the golden girls. Everyone who works here is just a charm. Definitely a hot spot to visit in Helena during your travels especially if your a antique fan or thrifter like me who enjoys finding one of a kind treasures. Anaconda is a historical treasure trove- this store lets you take some of it home. Individual vendors sell their items here, but it doesn't have the individual stalls- the feel of it all being one continuous store was much nicer than the normal rent a stall antique shops. No greeting upon entering, completely avoided eye contact every time I tried to make it to say hello. She was rude, rushed and made me feel so very very unwelcome when I checked out. I'm sad for the vendors here because she makes the whole experience so bad I don't ever want to go back. I would leave negative stars if I could. I've been a retailer and could never imagine ever making customers feel the way she made me and my poor mother feel. The young man behind the counter was a bit too pushy and 'conceited ', sorry but that is our opinion. We do visit several mines and shops during a year and that is just one of our take on this one. Same , and I mean SAME Saphires, same cut and carat were much pricier....and the young man 'claimed' they were 'just better'.... :) We know what to look for and 'just better is just not a real explanation, lol. Overall, good to stop and look around or do some family fun mining.... though.
