Eh. This restaurant/bar is located inside The Clarendon Hotel. They have a nice back patio area they call "the beer garden". It has a covered area and some picnic table seating. Both this area and the inside portion were nice. The bar is separate from the restaurant which is irritating because you have to go up front to the bar to get drinks seperate from your food. I had two items off the tasting menu for dinner, the seared tuna and the spicy meatballs. The size was reasonable a sharing plate but a little expensive in the $15 range each. The seared tuna was warm all the way through which was weird and brought out the fishy taste which wasnt super pleasant. The meatballs had an odd taste to them but came with a really tasty chili oil toast. For dessert I got the ricotta cheesecake which was really nice. Bottom line is this is a perfectly fine place to go if its convenient. Next time Im here Id probably branch out somewhere else before Id go here. read more
