There are board games available as well, if you want to hunker down to let the rain pass. The bartender was extremely friendly. They have a large selection of cask beers and ciders available. They also have a full bar on display as well. But I was confused when I attempted to order a cocktail for my wife and the bartender told me they don't do cocktails. I'm not sure if it was just this bartender that didn't do cocktails or the bar in general. He offered us a Whiskey Sour in a can, which we passed on. He said he could do simple drinks like Rum and Cokes, but we passed on that as well. He then said the bottles of spirits were mostly for looks, which I found misleading. Because we were unable to try the food, and they had a full bar on display but don't do cocktails, I have to give it 3 stars. Based on my experience at other locations in the area, there are other pubs with full bars and similar ambience nearby that I'd go to instead. BUT, if you're just walking by and all you want is a good beer and cider, then definitely give this place a chance.
