We would not recommend. They were well aware of my daughter's cancer diagnosis and the fact she had undergone treatment for over 9 months and therefore would have some adjustment issue upon starting. And also disclosed the fact our 2 year old was home without any socialization and would probably take some adjustment time. No concerns were addressed and the first few days were fine. Then when dropping off my son the staff was always cold with when I arrived, often gave side ways glances and I had to ask the staff to take him from me several times at drop off. Then due to some parent complaints and my son's separation anxiety we were told it was illegal to keep an inconsolable child for more than 30 minutes and many parents were upset by his crying so they kick him out after 5 days of attendance. our 4 year old who had cancer had no reported behavior issues for the almost week and a half attendance until the day they decided to kick out they reported some issues and when I explained to her she couldn't go to school anymore she asked if she could go back to say she was sorry and go to school again... She just had her port removed 3 weeks ago. Very upset with the rush to push my kids out the door after everything they've gone through and having all potential issues fully disclosed and promised to be worked with. Pretty disgusted by your treatment of a dear friend and her children. 5 days in and a child who has never been to daycare in his life, AND his sister who just came through a fight against cancer at 3 years old, are kicked out because he hasn't been given the chance to acclimate to completely new surroundings. Shame on you. ESPECIALLY for waiting until after she picked up the kids for the day and sending an email at 5pm instead of saying it to her face - I'm assuming because you knew you were pulling a shady move. I recommend any parent thinks twice before bringing their children here, as they clearly are not able or simply do not care enough to work with children who have anxiety about new situations. Shame on your for making a child who has been through hell and back in the last year feel like she did something that she needs to apologize to you for. You are clearly in the wrong field. read more
