They did the job, but they knocked over about 5 feet of stone wall and just left it there. My plumbing backed up a few months later; I called them and they said they "may have" crushed the pipe from the house to the septic tank by driving their equipment on it. They didn't seem surprised at all, like they knew they had crushed it and were hoping I wouldn't call them back. At least they fixed it for free a week later. I will do septic work myself with a teaspoon before I call these hacks again.

Roots had invaded the pipe going from my house to the septic tank. A crew showed up less than a…read moreweek after I called. They dug up and replaced the pipe and increased the pitch for better flow. They got rid of the roots and installed a manhole to the tank, so I'd never have to dig it up again. They pumped out the tank while they were at it. The crew worked within inches of the backyard birdbath, garden and bird feeders without disturbing so much as a single flower. When they were finished, they raked out the excavator tracks, leveled and seeded the lawn. The cost was on the low side of a very fair estimate. I surmise that they are just plain good at what they do, and hence are more efficient than the competition. They were polite, courteous and caring. None better.

When I called the company they said they were not plumbers but drain specialists, instead of them saying their sorry and thanks for not suing us, because they could've made a void or further broke my furnace more (the water actually made it to the furnace). The water damage wasn't known until the furnace was pulled up as my house is on slab foundation. I paid the bill as I didn't want a ding on my credit report. Well drain specialists, rethink your title, because it was my sewage pipe under my house. This review is 100% accurate, I have pics, text and voice messages to back up my review.

Jack said his hourly rate was only $100, but then he brought a "helper" with him @ $50 hour extra. They secured one wire to a porch light, but in 3 hours didn't have time to work on the other porch light or to replace 2 light fixtures, as they were repairing 5 outlets, of which 2 are obsolete, not in need, not on my list, not a safety issue. Jack charged me $500. I was unable to provide a photo of the poor workmanship on the 3 in one lightswitch/GFCI. Jack told me that he would come back when I had more money. I had told him up front "I am a low income senior." The only way to come up with another $440 was to not pay on my credit card. He said he got FREE light bulbs from Efficiency Maine, as do I. He used his and profited. He made me an appt. for 4 months later October 30 @ 7:30am. On that date he sent a text @ 7am rescheduling for afternoon which was inconvenient for me, but I had no choice as I was expecting 100 Trick-or-Treaters. He kept switching up the plan as to how he should go about working on the exterior porch light. Finally, we agreed on turning one of the obsolete outlets into a light switch. Why didn't he just do that 4 months earlier eliminating the fire danger? So, in fact, Jack charged to repair an obsolete outlet, then charged me again to undo that receptacle and turn it into a light switch. They finally got my 3 new light installed. So a total of $940. So little work was accomplished. My 3 in one lightswitch system looks unprofessional. One lightswitch is not flush with the cover, we are having a difficult time using the outlet, they didn't put in all 8 screws and the 4-piece outlet cover is old, dirty and severely cracked... I texted my concerns to Jack and he kept putting words in my mouth. He was dishonest. He kept bragging about his business. Poor planning on his part cost me double the money and unnecessary frustration. He kept telling me that he had bills too. It's been 4 months. I will start the process with the Maine Attorney General to mediate. ​
