I had to plan hair appointments with doctor appointments or family visits. If I did not have an appointment in Denver, I had to wait a few months until I did to have my hair done. It was getting old quickly!!! I went to YELP and researched the hair salons in Steamboat. I looked at those with 4 star ratings only. I finally settled on Steve Pruitt with Shear Passion because he received 5 stars from every single customer. I also liked that I was able to make an appointment online without having to wait until the salon opened the next day. It also gave me an estimated time I would spend in the salon. It was snowing on the day of my appointment. When I sat down with Steve, I showed him the cut I wanted. He used my hair color as the basis for my new hair color with him. He listened to everything I requested and asked me before he did anything. He explained each step as he did them. Now I know why he has a 5 star rating. He is amazing and another review said, he is a perfectionist...HE IS! My entire appointment took 3 hours as estimated. I love my hairstyle and I most certainly love the low light and high light colors that Steve selected. What I love the most is the price. Compared to the price I was paying in Denver, Steve's price is so much more reasonable. I am definitely going back to Steve for all future cuts and low/high lights!

At first I didn't want to get my mani pedi at the same time but I am glad I did. It took over an hour to get my pedicure done but she did a fabulous job. The issue however was that this was not at all relaxing. The ladies who work there were talking really loudly across the room at one another, the girl that did my mani painted gel on my skin multiple times and then cured it. As a result she felt she needed to use a file and has created several cuts along my fingers. The vibe is off for steamboat too.
