I fully acknowledge that little kiddos can be tricky to work with. He kept slouching and wanting me or my husband. However her attitude was so unnecessary. She was annoyed and so I guess that justified being unfriendly and flippant. His hair also didn't come out nice. She chopped off his curls when we wanted his hair faded and the top was left entirely to long so the boy has his bangs in his eyes still. Yet Ms. Chee Chee has been my barber for a few years now, ever since she was a new face in Boles Barber Shop. Once I sat her in chair - haven't looked back. From her meticulous, no rushed style to her going above and beyond that other barbers don't care for - such as simply using a straight razor to line you up. Followed her from when she left Boles Barber Shop(and they eventually closed), to Shear Madness Hair Studio (and they closed through no fault of their own) to Johnson Barber Shop to now where she has a shop of her own. Her new shop is different as one side is a barber side and the other side is the stylist side and the stylist seems to have came from Shear Madness. But, Ms. Chee Chee is definitely known for her 'beard game.' I've seen guys sit down and simply state 'Whatever you think.' She works her magic and the guys can't stop smiling at themselves in the mirror. I, personally, have had a little pencil thin goatee for the past 10+ years or so. I finally decided to have Ms. Chee Chee work her magic on my face and I will not go back to not having a beard. If I ever move away, it will definitely be a hurdle to find someone of her caliber. Yet, if that happens and I do come back, hopefully her dream of an all female Barber Shop will hopefully be more of a reality.

The two barbers that were there said no they were booked for the rest of the day and that's when I asked them to clarify that they don't do walk-ins. Apparently it's by appointment only when on the front door they have a sign that says "walk ins welcomed!" to make matters worse, they both acted like I was another barber's client, even though there were no other barbers there. Then one barber had the audacity to try and make me wait the rest of the day for an opening. I don't know what's going on with this barbershop but they were extremely unhelpful. They did not greet me when I walked in and they didn't even apologize for making me wait so long.
