Took 5 days and a check hold to get a response. Tried to tell me no big deal after screaming and swearing at me on the phone but when arrived back admitted not just a minor fix and would be out next week to address the multitude of issues. We find out after we could walk the job it looked as bad as to start just no longer as shiny. No contact from them until a 1 star google review. Eric the owner came out a few days later and pointed out on his own all the issues with the job and "easy fix" he explained they'd do everything that was just done. when he became agitated and belligerent he was asked to leave. After he stood in our drive screaming to neighbors that we were scum, didn't pay our bills, wrote bad checks.... he then wrote a libelous reply to the google review. Our basement looks terrible, not the work of a 5 star co, they ruined walls, a new patio door and base trim in the process, splattered material on our patio - it does not come off. I wasn't sure if the company was still making the material. I spoke w a woman named Lexi. She said she would get back w me. I called again with the square footage of my room and left the information with the woman who answered the phone. I didn't hear back that week and called again on October 23. I was told that the info was in Lexi's email and that Lexi was "on a well deserved vacation" and was off for her sons birthday. I asked when I should call back. The woman told me "like I said Monday the 31st" (FYI..she never said a date. Just said she was off). I called yesterday, November 3, giving Lexi some time to catch up after her vacation. She answered the phone and asked what I needed. So I went through the whole story. She told me she left me a voicemail (if she did, she left it on wrong number, I have no history of a missed call or of a voicemail from her). She told me the material is discontinued. I asked for the name of my product. She didn't want to look it up. But finally did. And I asked her for the company's phone number (I figured they might know where else I could get something like this or mill it for me...because she suggested they may), she said "you can Google it". I said, no, you can give it to me....she hung up on me. I did call back to talk to a manager and was sent to their normal voicemail. It was approximately 8k worth of hard wood that apparently she didn't want to sell me for some reason. I called the manufacturer and was told that in fact this was not discontinued, they re-mill it all of the time and that they have 8,000 square feet in their warehouse. I called 2 other vendors to check prices and "miracle" they found it and quoted me on the phone right then. So run away from this place. Do not use them.

J & J tackled an odd repair for me: replace a broken dial glass on the panel meter on a vintage…read moremilitary surplus radio wattmeter. Not your typical architectural/interior job! I had it the next day. The wattmeter looks and works a treat in my amateur radio station. That saved a perfectly good instrument and saved me a fair bit of money. I admire the "can-do" attitude of the staff.
